But some people still praise Ngannout that he didn't quit, etc.
He is fresh, relatively young and bigger man who fought the biggest fight of his life, why should he quit?
He has a chin yet, but either Hunt or Roy Nelson have it and it's also not what we haven't seen yet.
Ngannout was saved by the bell in the end of literally each round except of the last and coundn't even move by his own by the end of fight.
Reminder of how the most of fight looked like:

War Stiopic!
I just dont see Ngannout as a next big thing. He is dangerous and all, but IMO even Blayedes has more potential than him.

Prime JDS was one of the best ever.

I have no idea where he's at now though. Only has 1 win in the 3 years since that fight.

Wasn't that the roid era though?

Not being finished by the UFC champion after circa 4 years of training MMA is pretty darn impressive, regardless of whether you offered any real resistance or not.

arguably the best HW resume.
Cain, Werdum, Rothwell, Nelson, Miocic, Gonzaga, Struve, CroCop, Carwin, Mir, Hunt.

Cain fight should have an asterisk next to it, Cain was injured and couldn’t move properly which got him clipped.

A win is legitimate as long as it wasn't achieved through illegal means.

"Gave much more a fight"
Lol you talking like he didn't win the fight

He won and he also went 5-rounds with Stipe, but wasn't as nearly dominated as Ngannout was.

Yes but then he got squashed easily the second time around, partially erasing his previous accomplishment. It was a pathetic performance from JDS.

And then he pissed hot, even more erasing.

JDS has good boxing, conditioning, and has a fighter's body. You have better conditioning over rounds when you don't have a huge back and shoulders sucking all that air up, especially when you're winging your hardest shots at every turn.
