It's finally time, we've loved, we've fought, we've sent each other death threats... but let's talk about our favourite fighters. From all combat sports!

For me my all time favourites are:

MMA - Kazushi Sakuraba, Fedor Emelianenko, Lyoto Machida, Bas Rutten, Cung Le, Frankie Edgar, Donald Cerrone and GSP
Muay Thai - Dieselnoi, Samart, Sagat, Pakorn, Pornsaneh, Yodsanklai, Muangthai, John Wayne Parr and Sylvie Von Dougles-Ittu
Kickboxing - Buakaw, Masato, Giorgio Petrosyan, Andy Souwer and Rob Kaman
Boxing - Miguel Cotto, Joe Frazier, Vasyl Lomachenko, Alexis Arguello, Tommy Hearns

Generally I find if its a fighter I really like, I end up watching their entire career... doing that with Masato was a struggle, but eventually I found a channel with his entire career save for a few fights... good luck doing that with Thai guys though.

So let's hear it F11, who are your favourites?

Arguelo
Souwer
Petrosyan
Lawler
Aldo
Duran
Big Nog
Hearns

GSP. Conor mcgregor. Anderson Silva. Carlos condit. Prince Naseem. Ali. Floyd. Roy Jones jr. GGG. Uriah Hall.

Charlie Z (p4p GOAT)

Based my game on: Somewhat ironically, Hunt and Overeem. And then Conor. If you combine the Hunt who fought Werdum (when I saw Hunt's movement in that fight is when I got seriously interested in training), the Overeem who fought Brock, the Conor who fought Holloway, and then you add more knees in clinch-locks after the Hunt leaps and the Conor jumping kicks to close distance plus some standing subs, that's basically me.

Pleasant to watch: Matt Brown, TJ, the Diaz brothers, Jessica Andrade, John Lineker, Leslie Smith, pre-slump Country. Ugh.... I have to mention the Cannetti vs Briones fight too, I love the heat Cannetti brings and Briones too. "missed-OOOOH! HUGE, HUGE UPPERCUT. HE'S GOT THE REAR NAKED-HE'S GOT IT!!! BEAUTIFUL" :D

To be honest I don't really watch nearly as much combat sports as I use to. Training for me seems to be enough - although I do have fighters that I will exclusively watch fights for:

MMA - Hunt, Sakuraba, F.Edgar
Kickboxing - Masato, Kozo Takeda (wasn't the best with his hands but deadly low kic/inside low kick game).
Boxing - Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Frazier
Karate - Hajime Kazumi

Masato, Maywheater, Loma, GGG, Ward, Klichkos, Pirog got interested in him recently. From the MMA guys Jones, GSP, Khabib and McGregor.

Cro Cop, Igor Vovchanchyn, Guy Mezger, Maurice Smith, & Remigijus Morkevicius (R.I.P. :( ).

To be clear, even if I post in this threat, I have no intention of bonding with the lot of you, and specially not with TS.

The guy that made me interest in martial art, and specially MT, was Buakaw. His fight with Masato in 2004 for the K1 was the first non-boxing Match that got me like WOW...what the fok?! that's awesome!!!
I know he is seen as a KBoxer, and not as a Nak Muay, but he was the one that opened the doors to that sport for me.

In boxing, I still think prime Tyson was the baddest, scariest man on the planet. Roy Jones the most exciting and gifted one, and from the new generation I been following GGG for some time now.

In MMA, I consider Fedor the GOAT. Was enjoying Aldo a lot, specially the old days. Now days, i just root for the guy that has a MT style, which means mostly guys in ONE FC, and not so many in UFC.

And for MT, any guy who doesn't use punches...

I don't post all that much, but I'm happy to chip in.
Boxing I'd go with Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, Vasyl Lomachenko, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Roy Jones Jnr, and Bernard Hopkins.
In MMA, as a judo kind of guy, I've always loved Fedor (although his most recent fights make me sad.)
Muay thai I'm a big fan of Nathan Corbett, Yodsanklai, Samart (of course), and Sylvie as well - not just coz she's a fun fighter to watch, but because of all she's contributed to the art by filming with the legends.

I dont follow the muay thai scene enough to name names. I watch so many unknown but great nak muays from youtube channels who stream weekly fights from Thailand, and also from thai TV. But i like a good clinch rape. So any good clinchers.

Boxing i really like canelo. He got fun and solid style. Nice combo of technical and power.

Mma i tend to like the brazilian strikers that are technical clean. Not wild and sloppy like wand and shogun. But more like anderson silva, thiago alves, jose aldo and edson barboza. But i feel like there is a generation change happening. So that style will soon be gone.

Kickboxing i liked jerome lebanner and tyrone spong. But those are out of the picture.

Guess i need some fresh new fav fighters. Haha

K-1: Andy Hug, Crocop, Buakaw, Masato, Mike Zambidis
MMA: Yoshihiro Akiyama, Luke Rockhold, Karo Parysian, Adam Khaliev, Uriah Hall, Andrews Nakahara, Sakuraba
Karate: Shokei Matsui
Boxing: Mayweather

Bob motherfuckin Sapp.

Dude played pro football then signs a contract to fight professional MMA in Japan without any know how or experience!? That's is some real life action hero level balls. His 3rd fight ever was for the title against Nog. Sapp had less than 3 minutes combined total cage time and still managed to dominate nog for nearly the entire fight before getting subbed.

I don't care about who he was later in his career, that dude was an adventurer at heart.

Ooh man i could go on forever on this hahaha

But to name my most fav fighters:
Hendo
Vitor
Albert Krause
Andy Souwer
Shane Mosley
Tito Trinidad
Miguel Cotto

I am mostly a boxing fan and I really enjoy and follow the last couple of years mma and UFC.
I also have a little exposure to Muay Thai and Kyokushin, mostly fights of the all time greats, but I really admire and love seeing some fighters in these sports.
So here is my list.

Boxing: Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Robinson, Roman Gonzalez, Mike Mccallum, Rigondeaux, Joan Guzman, Roberto Duran

MMA: Robert Whitaher, Conor Mcgregor, Jose Aldo

Muay Thai: Saenchai. If not the best, he is at least the most entertaining striker I have seen in general. His footwork, sweeps and his graceful movement are phenomenal.
I also admire Somrak/Somluck Khamsing, but I have only watched a few highlights video and his boxing fight in the finals of the olympics, beating the guy
Mayweather lost to. How amazing is that?? I think Thais are the most impressive fighters in the planet. The only strikers who can compete in the elite level in every
striking sport. Mcgregor take notes!!

Kyokushin: Shokei Matsui
In a sport, that seems crude at first glance, watching his dojo kumite clips, kicking the ass of one karateka after the other,
so effortlessly and gracefully, is a thing of beauty.

Real answer:

MMA: Robert Whittaker, Cerrone, Barboza, Woodley, Jones, Joanna Jedrzejczyk
MT: Pornsanae, Yod, Enriko Kehl, Kevin Ross
KB: Josh Jauncey, Remy Bonjasky
Boxing: Ike Quartey, Cotto, Canelo

Kickboxing: Gokhan Saki, Hoost, and LeBanner. I like their mix of violence & technique.

Boxing: Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, Naseem Hamed. Lots of violence, opponents getting KO'd stiff, and lots of interesting subtle techniques that aren't really seen these days.

MMA: Fedor, GSP, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Valentina Shevchenko. Fedor & GSP revolutionized MMA with their seamless blending of all phases of combat, and Joanna & Valentina are on the cutting edge of striking in MMA.

Muay Thai: Saenchai, Singdam Kiatmoo9, Nong-O, Seksan. The first 3 have had so many amazing high level fights against each other, and Seksan is a crazy action fighter/technical brawler.

Do any of you guys even watch MMA?

Have none of you ever heard of Holloway, Garbrandt, Mighty Mouse, Maia, Ferguson or Khabib? They're some of the most dominant guys in the sport, all finishers with huge active win streaks.

You guys made bad choices. GSP is a blanket, Fedor's a can crusher, Jones is on dick pills, McGregor's a panic wrestler and Joanna beats up soccer moms.

Boxing: Marvin Haggler, Kostya Tszu, early Tyson, Prince Naseem, Vasyl Lomachenko
Muay Thai: Saenchai, Somrack Khamsing
MMA: TJ Dillashaw, Anderson Silva (before the fall)

I like Garbrandt as well, and Khabib. But Fedor is just who I remember from when I first got into MMA.
