Anderson's raw power is nothing special but his combination of speed, accuracy and timing made his hands very dangerous. Leben, Okami, Marquardt, Irvin, Griffin, Sonnen etc agree with this.

He also has a lot of finishes by knees which you didn't mention.

His precision was precise...knees, Franklin 2..Newton, AS's knee set it up, for punches on the ground, but if I remember that knee took him out. gotta check it out again.

there is some truth to his lack of power. You talk about these KOs. It took a massive flurry of kicks knees and punches to take out leben. It took multiple Chain knees to the jaw to take out Franklin. It took multiple knock downs for forest to give up. He had to follow up with ground and pound to put away james Irvin. He had to follow up with ground n pound to put away Vitor after the Front kick. Bisping was able to continue after Andy put everything he had into a flying knee to the chin against somebody not bracing himself for it

Just look at history. Andy does not have 1 hitter quitter power, even with kicks and knees right on the button. He had to connect multiple consecutive clean shots to KO or TKO somebody and will probably be a TKO and if it's recorded as a KO it's probably bullshit like with forest. Forest wasn't knocked out. He submitted to strikes with a hand gesture. That is not a KO.

His reign happened when the division was garbage. Theoretical time traveled prime Anderson would never be champ during today's shark tank at middleweight. He wouldn't even work his way past the boys to get a title shot. Somebody would take him out before he could reach rank 5ish.
