Both the UFC and Al Haymon's headquarters are located in Las Vegas and are very deeply connected with the casino powers as the proposed event would take there. Dana comes from a boxing background and he and Haymon did a widely successful partnership in the Mayweather vs McGregor fight plus White has access to Zuffa's huge profits from the recent sale of the UFC of which he himself earned $400 million. Dana wants to develop a Zuffa Boxing arm of the company and has expressed an interest in Anthony Joshua . . . I could go on and on why I think its likely.

I doubt it....That fight is huge with or without Dana

Why would Joshua and Wilder give their money to him, when the fight will already sell itself?

Could one of them sign with Dana in the future? sure, but Dana is not getting a piece of the Joshua/wilder pie

It is true that the fight will sell without Dana but he has the cash on hand to escrow in advance, he has the relationship with Haymon and the deep connections in Las Vegas to pull it together quickly as well as promote it.

I think it's all talk from wilder , don't see where this 50 mil could come from unless he has a mysterious backer

nah man, tbh it's impossible unless one of them get out of the contract.

And no, Haymon isn't going to go to Dana and say can you help me promote this and take some of the money lmao

Haymon is a Don! I remember a quote during the May/Mac tour when Dana said, "Al Haymon gave me STRICT ORDERS to not let Conor touch floyd."

Dana is Haymon's bitch.....Haymon is a powerful man, not just compared to Dana, but a lot of ppl

And I know this isn't the right place to discuss this, but Joshua will make easy work of that bum

Ha!.. . . There is plenty of money flowing out there for such an event for Vegas. . . .There is a reson why you can't see it.

I don't doubt it at all. He has already worn zuffa boxing shirts. He saw the money in the conor/mayweather fight.

Boxing is on an upswing. Dumb if they didnt try and dip into the market.

Dana is independently wealthy and still has access to much more through the UFC's new parent company WME-IMG as well as Dana's friends the Fertitta's. Haymon would want such a partner as a co-promoter.

Good point bro, I suppose when you have 2 HW world champs who are both ko experts meeting to unify the division it could easily generate a fuck load of cash, but is wilder that big of a star over there?

lol you obviously don't know Al Haymon....Ppl talk shit about this guy end up dead or blacklisted.

He doesn't even show his face, he's behind the scenes all the time bc he's a don.. He doesn't need ppl to see him all over the TV, he knows he runs things.

That is all true. . . .however Haymon would also want to do a deal quickly and cleanly. . . .Dana White brings a lot to the table.

Wilder is not a big star in the U.S. but the event is hugely promotable and by fight night he will be.

No, if came from Dana and the UFC the offer would probably be 5k in Reebok vouchers, not 50mill in hard cash. Remember when he offered Mayweather 20 million to fight McGregor?
<36>

And half of sherdog were saying it was a great offer.<{JustBleed}>
