Russoa bombs u.s backed new syrian army in an area where they were engaged with isis

It really sucks when you are strolling around with your militia buddies and someone decides to fire an ATGM right to your face. Hama countryside.

Russian airstrikes on the new Syrian army appear to have happened. It is a group fighting IS in southern Syria near the Jordanian border.

ISF has reached central Fallujah though much still remains under IS control.

IS SVBIED hits ISF right at the place of previous video.

Yeah the new syrian army is moderate and u.s backed.
Reports are the ruskies struck them once and the u.s called them off....onlybfor the vodka air force to strike again!

Well ISIS lost the majority of Fallujah today and the SDF has now entered Manbij nearly reaching the center, ISIS is getting fucked up during Ramadan this year.

New Syrian Army should change name to New Sunni Army , since naming convention should ideally be an accurate representation of the group.

Look like the Iraqi's are either going to attack Shirqat or western Anbar next.

I always said IS would lose the minute the Iraqis start fighting back. They should consolidate their gains and not rush Mosul. They have to remember there's an army of paid up lobbyists who are actively against the GOI and want it to fail. Clear up everything apart from Mosul and let them stew for a while.

Wouldnt that mean the saa would now have to drop the sa part?

Still its a hellva escalation from the russkies , a force engaged in anti isis combat ridiculously far from any regime forces and with f18s scrambled and ignored as well as requests to pull back on open frequency ..seems the russians want to discredit u.s backing as worthless

Why would the SAA drop the SA?
The SAA is Syrian
The SAA is the official Army of the government of Syria
Syria is overwhelmingly Arab

^^^^ That's battlefield 2 tactics....It's amazing how he got so close without being killed long before hand on that open space.

Facts:

Radical Muslims constitute less than 0.1 % of all Muslims

Isis is constituted of thugs/criminals and disenfranchised youth to the failed states they are in perpetuated by several US invasions in the Middle east

ISIS is killing mostly other Muslims. Not Americans, or other nations. But moderate Muslims.

If you paint moderate Muslims with the same brush, ISIS wins. We need to help moderate Muslims who are fighting ISIS in the front lines.

Marginalizing moderate Muslims at home who help is us a HUGE mistake. FOX news is entertainment, not a legitimate news source. Don't be fooled.

They usually weld steel plates on those VIED for extra protection. It's nearly impossible to disable them with small arms fire. Even .50 has trouble getting through those inch thick plates sometimes. They had a tank there, but tt's difficult for older Soviet tanks to hit moving targets due to crappy fire control.

The SAA said fuck it and left Raqqa province today, they didn't lose many men or equipment but because of the fact that they are on a long salient with few places to reinforce in the middle of a desert and ISIS was counter attacking they pulled out before they had a chance to get cut off. It was a stupid offensive and it didn't pan out. The SDF on the other hand repelled a huge ISIS counter attack near Manbij, killed at least 40 ISIS members and captured a decent amount of weapons.
