That certainly is not my style. I would never say that to a depressed person contemplating suicide. The most harsh thing I have ever said to someone in that position was calling them selfish for putting their family through the ringer. I have a shirt on this guy’s wrist, stopping the blood, telling him that killing himself and making a mess is selfish, and something an asshole would do. Do you really want to be remembered as an asshole?

To answer your question, I think that cop was most likely bad. He did not want to take you to the hospital because he would have to wait on you. Those are the actions of a lazy and uncaring person.
