    I'm American and I hope he gets his ass kicked. Blind nationalism is for idiots. Even that asshole Werdum gets full support from his country. Tries to beat up a lightweight and a welterweight and they still love him. America > Brazil.

    Werdum seems like he'd be a really cool guy to meet, though there are things about him that are a bit shady (Kadyrov) I'm still a big fan

    And this "tries to beat up on WW and LW's" shit is so stupid, they're grown men in a dispute, the fact that one is bigger than the other doesn't matter one iota. What's he supposed to do? Just ignore disrespect because he's heavier than they are?

    Werdum was a jerk to Tony during his interview, and you know it. Can't really blame him for hating Colby, but that incident with Tony showed his true colors.

    I guess that's my point. As Americans, we like who we like, and nationality rarely plays a factor in that. Brazilians probably think that's retarded.

    That's not true, casuals everywhere root primarily by nationality simply because that's who they know or have heard of. The more hardcore fans tend to be fans based on style or personality, it's like that everywhere around the world.

    It's not though. It's only in the US. Sure you occasionally get the USA-USA-USA chants but that's nothing.

    Watch a foreigner fighting a local anywhere other than the US and it's very clear who the crowd want to win, unless you consider people who actually go to watch fights live as casuals.

    Uhhh yeah there are a lot of casuals at events. And you can't judge based off crowd noise either, some crowds and people are just louder than others.

    I mean consider UFC events in Japan where the crowd is pretty quiet either way. Do you think nobody is rooting for anyone because the crowd is muted?
