Nah. Its simplistic, easy to teach and learn and inexpensive to play. Can play on grass, sand concrete. Dont need expensive equipment and can play almost in any climate.

Wait, maybe thats what makes it great. I just hate the poor sportsmanship aspect.

Baseball is at least kind of consistent in its boringness. Its supposed to be laid back. The kind of thing you half pay attention to while eating a hotdog and talking to your buddy. American football on the other hand is supposed to be an intense, violent sport and yet, like baseball, it drags on for 3+ hours with little 5 second bursts of play every now and then and lots of standing around and commercials. Its a weird contrast that doesnt work well at all imo.

It be a much better sport if they just had a subs bench and not have specialist teams.
