Is Scottie Pippen really the greatest number 2 guy in NBA history? Or is it just because he always played second fiddle to the GOAT?

Are there other players who weren't the best player in their team, but still better than Pippen?

Kobe put up nba finals mvp level numbers in the 2nd and 3rd ring with Shaq, just Shaq was in god mode

Pippen was a true robin, the greatest perimeter defender ever, and the perfect compliment to the ball dominant GOAT

    Its hard to say.

Pippen was a great complimentary player to MJ but he was kinda average after MJ left and didn't accomplish nothing afterwards.

On the other hand you have :

    Stockon & Malone

    Shaq & Kobe

    Lebron & Bosh & Wade

    KD & Curry

    Nash & Barkley

    Kareem & Magic

If were talking strickly as a "Robin", id say yes Pippen.

But almost everyone on that list cept arguably Bosh became Nitewing or Batman.

You are forgetting how pippen played when mj was playing baseball. He was an mvp candidate. Portland and houston was pippen getting old.

Tournament it was Rodman and Robinson. Me and my brother would use them and just beat the shit out of people so they would have atleast one shitty player in the second half. Finesse doesnt work in tournament.
