I was reading some forums and some guy said its dangerous that the body doesn't need that much fiber and it will destroy your digestive system because its a laxative and that it can make you choke because it will stick and expand in your throat.

I started drinking it because I heard fiber was good for regularity and overall health keeping you full so you dont group, Ill say this it made me run to the restroom in the morning drinking it with water before bed.

I only drink one spoon and only drink it once a day so Im not overloading on it. I bought a tub of it but now im pretty much freaked out after reading that guys comments.

This the one I take

I've had slow digestion since I was a teen so I've taken a lot of it with no issues. I figure it's better than not shitting for days.

My doctor seemed to think it was fine. He's not a nutrition specialist but still.

You can look up any product and find horror stories. I wouldn't worry about it.

I can take fiber and still not use the can for 3 days at a time. Sure makes it hurt less, though.

Theres a cancer warning from where im from on most bottles of psyllium. I didnt look into it too much but there was also some type of study that said it gave more incidence to colon cancer. Strange huh. I drink other forms of fiber like chia seeds and flax. So much less convenient but I got scared away from psyllium husk.

Fiber is extremely important though. My preferred method is apples and carrots but its super tedious.

What part of the world are you from, never seen a cancer warning for psyllium husk.

I believe the choking risk is associated with the caplets that can get stuck and then expand in your throat.

Really thats scary, I think maybe because if you take too much of the husk they will stick to your colon and intestines, I remember mixing the whole husks and those suckers got stuck to my spoon quickly and I only left it on the spoon for like 10 minutes and they were hard to remove from the spoon it was like super glued on had to really scrub it off.

I heard Flax is high in estrogen and men shouldn't drink it, but Chia seeds I heard are good, my friend eats chia seed pudding and said its better than Psyillium Husk but it will make you go a few times to really clean out your system.

I love Apples, but I didnt know thats high fiber? carrots are good when I juice them in my juicer I eat the mulch it discards with my salad and braggs vinegar.
