The ex-170 pound champ who hasn't fought in years against a current 185 pound champion? Is the current MW division really that bad or is GSP really going to be that good?

Will be a fun one to watch.

    Yuppers.

GSP is good at stuff. Michael Bisping is bad at stuff.

    Should be pretty one sided.

GSP is the favorite if you are a GSP fan. I guarantee Vegas isn't as stupid after they lost their ass in the Rockhold fight.

Even as a GSP fan, I agree that he shouldn't be the favorite coming into this fight given the layoff, move up in weight and fighting a durable MW champ with good takedown defense in Bisping.

Huge St Pierre fan. But this is going to be a tough fight. Hopefully his riddum doesn't have rust from the layoff.

GSP kills him 6 years ago, but nowadays, I think Bisping takes a decision. He's big(against a WW) and hard to wrestle, and GSP hasn't lit someone up on the feet in a long ass time. I'd take prime GSP over Prime Bisping any day, but it's hard to imagine that this is Prime GSP we are going to be seeing.

I reckon Bisping is gonna' win and then we'll have the 'Bisping is GOAT' discussion appear after he's taken victories over two 'GOAT' contenders Anderson Silva & Georges St. Pierre.

I don't know about kill but he probably wins a decision 5 years ago. Now he loses. Especially his first fight back.

It's an interesting match up that will likely go the distance unless Bisping lands a lucky one.

I'm curious if people think Bisping is in his prime? It would be an odd time as an MMA fighter or just an athlete in general to enter their prime. Confidence wise he has to be at his peak. Bisping is a cagey fighter, so experience/smarts wise he has to be at his peak.

GSP on the other hand definitely won't be at his best coming off such a long layoff and an argument can be made that he will a step slower at MW. I'd say the odds are pretty even, but given how Bisping barely got by Hendo, maybe GSP is the favorite?

    Bisping wins this one.
How could GSP be the favorite?
    Makes no sense.

I also feel this way. I am a GSP fan but I think Bisping is gonna win. 4 years off is no joke, he's had major surgeries, I found he didn't look as good from the Condit fight up to Hendricks.

It will be really weird and pretty weak if GSP wins and doesn't defend it.

Bisping 's solid boxing and take down defense means a UD loss for GSP. I'll be pulling for Rush though.

Yea it's hard to imagine him being a monster like he was in his prime, especially with those USADA cunts ruining the sport.

Bisping barely got by one of the most motivated Hendo we have ever seen. If there was any fight Hendo wanted it was this one.

Here's a little tidbit to chew on: Roughly 15 months ago, a 37 year old Bisping walked off a Hollywood set and KTFO'd prime Luke Rockhold. Now all that stands in his way is a shopworn GSP.

Yeah man, make no mistake GSP is a better fighter than Bisping. But...he's a welterweight up against a middleweight, he's been away for 4 years as you say, whilst Bisping has been active. Also I think stylistically it's quite a poor match up, I imagine Georges will have a hard time wrestling Bisping, whilst Bisping will fight his usual fight, a cardio based kick-boxing bout to a decision victory.

GSP isn't a heavy hitter, I don't see him finishing Bisping at all. This is Bispings bread and butter, going the distance and winning a decision by being active as fuck. He'll out land GSP, use his size to his advantage, he'll likely do no significant damage to GSP, but he'll win a decision no problems.

    Bisping is going to win.

You better trust me, I'm Canadian. My cousins step dads coworker knows GSPs friends and apparently he's hiding some injuries.
