Even his most ardent supporters have to realize that his reluctance to fight Woodley is very telling. Tyron would be one of the toughest opponents of GSP's entire career - fast, strong, good wrestling, great take down defense, power in both hands, and blistering speed when he's fresh - George don't want none of that. He'd rather starve himself and move down to 155 to fight a more suitable style match up in Khabib? What do you think?

He has nothing left to prove at ww. He wants to be a three division champ . Plus with everyone doubting him that he can make 155 it will be even more motivation and drive. Gsp with a hunger is dangerous

But on today's podcast with Rogan, he showed interest in recapturing the WW Title if Nick were to come back and beat Woodley for it first. Nick freakin' Diaz... A guy that he already dominated, and who hasn't won a fight since 2011.

Of course he is scared of Woodley. The guy is a legend and deserves his money fights but the title chasing is lame.

    Not this again.

GSP doesn't give a fuck about Tyron. He did everything there was to do at WW.

Tyron has already been defeated before and has some of the worst title defenses.

It doesn't add anything to GSP's resume.

He just talked about all of that on Rogan's podcast. He wants someone who's undefeated or at least on a run and seems undefeatable. Tyron ain't that guy.

Better to be knocked out by a tall, roided Nate Marquardt than a short, clean Matt Serra.

If there is a dude in the UFC who DEFINITELY have zero fucks to give to anything Woodley, his fans and whoever else may wish it is Fucking Georges Saint Pierre.
Dude have the resume at WW and his duties are fulfilled.
IF he wishes to fight for that belt again he will do it.
In any other case Woodley and the crowd should just deal with it.

gsp wants money fights. Woodley is not a money fight. That is what it is about and nothing else.

Georges wants no part of Wood. He knew he got a gift decision against Hendricks, he probably wouldn't be so lucky against his black twin

GSP dominated the division for years in a much more spectacular fashion than Woodley. He moved up a weight class to fight the champion after 4 years out of the cage. And now people claim the man is scared? I can't wrap my head around this. GSP is in there for his last couple of fights, why should he want to fight a boring fighter like Woodley to be stuck with that same title he's been fighting for and defending a decade when he can pick some exciting fights to make money with? He's the Welterweight GOAT, he's got nothing left to prove in this division. That being said, I think GSP would beat Woodley anyway.

Every fight GSP fights is a “money fight” for him as in he gets paid regardless of who he fights.

That fight is so old, Cruz was still UFC champ the 1st time with no interim and Jon Jones still loved Jesus.

It's the riskiest fight for him and the one that will take the most damage control to fix after he loses.

It's also the fight that will benefit his "legacy" the most.
