I think Jordan being bigger than the Bulls, or Fedor/Rizin are rare examples of this.

That would be the equivalent of Conor being bigger than Team SBG (aka Team Grape Ape) of Conor being bigger than Cage Rage. But Jordan was never bigger than the NBA and Conor is not bigger than the UFC. Mayweather is possibly bigger than any of the boxing promotions.

He's the biggest star for sure. He is bigger than anyone else in the UFC in terms of fans and drawing power. But it's not like if he went to bellator that bellator would become bigger than the UFC

He's big in MMA terms.

He's nowhere near what Tyson was in terms of notoriety.

You'd need to be pretty young to think that was the case.
