Is Colby Convington a nightmare matchup for khabib ?

Colby wrestling is top notch and his cardio is the best in the UFC . I thinks khabib melts after getting a taste of Colby’s grappling and pace and Colby grinds kut a 50-45 . Also standing colby is better than khabib standing .

That was back in 2015 , colby has improved so much since then and also had a broken rib going into that fight .

Nah. Similar styles but Khabib is just better all around. Colby might have better cardio, but I don't buy the narrative that Khabib's cardio isn't good. Particularly if he was fighting at 170 I think he'd be able to match Colby's pace and most likely smash him.

No. Colby doesn't have any punching power, so Khabib will just walk right through any strikes he does throw and ragdoll him and beat the piss out of him on the ground.

Nah Colby TDD is not very impressive plus he wouldn't be much stronger Khabib (Khabib might be stronger). His top game is pretty meh so I doubt he could keep Khabib down for long. And if can then I wouldn't mind Khabib working his sub game some more.

I think Khabib does the usual to him.

Woodley is a much harder fight for Khabib.

I think it is a fun fight. I hope it materializes if/once Khabib moves up to WW.

The most notable moment of Colby's last fight was when he was taken down by a former LW and BJJ specialist.

The only nightmares that he could give to Khabib would be of Colby trying to dry-hump him. And it's very possible that he would get that nightmare, as Khabib is very likely to fall asleep. Just like anybody else watching Colby.

RDA took Colby down. I think Khabib at 170 would be a better wrestler than he is at 155. I don't think Colby can out grind Khabib.

Pretty good

Locked up some nasty triangles against Trujillo, one that would have won him the fight if the buzzer didn't go on the round and he hit some pretty nasty reversals too

Colby has better takedowns but Khabib is the better and more complete grappler

And based on the way RDA could take Colby down whenever he actually tried to I think KHabib would walk all over him. Wouldn't even be much of a size difference on fight night if there is one at all
