Is chad mendes the best wrestler-boxer in ufc?hes a great wrestler.the hardest hitter/most explosive in his division,had one of the fastest hand in ufc today.

Chad mendes is one of if not the hardest hitter in featherweight division.

From a consistent stand point, him and Frankie Edgar are the best. That being said, from an inconsistent stand point, it would have been Joe "Diesel" Riggs. On his good days, Riggs had an amazing ability of throwing boxing combos, followed up with take down and some epic ground and pound.

Other than TJ, Chad benefited most from Duane's training at TAM. His striking and footwork improved a ton since Duane.

It's a shame what happened to Chad after the McGregor fight though. He could've been the champ.

Chad's boxing wasn't that good. He's very fast and explosive, but when it came to actual technique? Nahh.

He landed succesfully on strikers like Conor and Aldo because he's great at faking the takedown and come over the top with a heavy punch.

Chad is stronger and more explosive but his cardio is worse. Frankie got better skillset in my opinion. I could be wrong though.

The Floyd-Conor fight made it hard to call anything done in MMA "good boxing".

He's a "boxer-wrestler", a type of fighter that appeared and over-populated MMA in the past 10 years or so....

Mendes top game was awful which is why the only UFC fights he ever used his wrestling in was Nik Lentz where he gassed and looked like shit and Conor where he gassed and got KOd.
