Street fights are short, intense, usually on concrete surfaces, and are 100x more dangerous than any MMA fight. No ref to save you, opponent could have weapons, backup, etc.It can be a disadvantage on the streets too, if you're fighting someone who knows how to counter strike.
street fighters are almost always untrained in fighting skills, usually just angry meatheads who lift weights. its unlikely youre going to meet a counter-striker. Trained fighters would avoid these silly confrontations at all costs.
So yeah, you could meet a cool collected counter-striker. But its unlikely a confrontation would escalate with them to begin with, given the risks involved. I'd still say an angry person holds an advantage in such circumstances
