Israel might be less likely to attack Iran if they're more likely to get hit back hard before US can intervene. Israel wanted to attack Iran and then have US intervene before Iran would be able to hit back.

Israel would get fly over rights from Saudi's and Jordanians to attack Iran and of course would shoot down any Iranian fighters jets, limiting them to launching missiles. They probably have bombers in Syria now, and would try to mad dash it back to Iran after by flying over Northern Iraq (Kurd country), though America might be there to "protect sovereignty" of Iraq/Kurds

Israel absolutely needs support to persevere through a prolonged conflict. They are surrounded by hostile nations, and are a very, very small country that can’t sustain itself for long. They wouldn’t have survived the Yom Kippur war without the American airlift. You can bet Russia will be aiding Iran in a conflict with Israel.

I’m not saying we should support them in a conflict, I just think that is the reality. I think the US would interfere to keep Israel from going nuclear.
