International arms watchdog finds that most ISIS weaponry was purchased by the United States and SA

This isn’t news but unsurprisingly the CT crowd are making it seem like we just directly handed arms to ISIS when it was supplied by “moderate rebels” when they defected and stolen from cowardly Iraqi troops that fled battle and left equipment behind.

The Trump administration is far from perfect when it comes to foreign policy. It was never going to be the case of Trump waving some sort of magic wand and everything suddenly being OK. It is however a vast improvement on the Bush and Obama years and the hell that would have been unleashed had that psycho Hillary been put in The White House.

The big trends in foreign policy dont change from candidate to candidate. I never understood why americans never figured out the system is corrupt at its core. The whole thing is just a team sport for the public where supporters of left/right just sling shit at the other. In terms of Iran, the only thing trump has done is convince Iran, the US cannot be negotiated with and turns its back on deals it signs.

ISIS had a parade of F-150's and Toyota's with mounted machine guns several years ago.

Machine guns aren't made in the Middle East.

Neither are F-150's or Toyota's.

Saudi Arabia aren't using weapons to kill ISIS in their capital. The Kurds took their capital with US support. Saudis aren't involved in the Syrian conflict.

The Muslims the Sauds are killing in Yemen aren't ISIS, or ISIS linked, they're Iranian backed Shia.

Saudi troops are not fighting fighting in Afghanistan.

Saudis have armed Sunni extremists like ISIS for decades. If anyone is directly supplying them arms it's them.

I was under the impression this was common knowledge.

When ISIS crossed the Syrian border, all the way down to Tikrit, the Iraqis essentially threw up their hands and gave up their bases, tanks, and all weaponary. It was unbelievable.
