Intermittent Diet and Fasted Cardio

    So what I Learned from the first video Is that Intermittent diet can preserve muscle tissue, however, in the second video fasted cardio will breakdown muscle tissue. So would doing cardio or working out in general canceled out the Intermittent diet????

    No. Total caloric intake with proper macro-nutrient partitioning is really what matters. Preserving muscle tissue comes from a high protein diet, not meal timing. Maybe meal timing affects top tier bodybuilders or pro-athletes, but to the average guy, hammering calories and macros are much more important.

    I do use a form of IF, but its because I enjoy eating larger meals than smaller meals. Smaller meals I don't do well with, I always feel hungry (Not to mention it being a conflict at work) while large meals hits home really well.

    I tried that shit. Did not work that well because i train two times a day.

    Probably best for those who train for looks. Not for performance.

    Intermittent fasting won't really fuck up whatever routine you have. If your system now is working, I would say don't bother with intermittent fasting, but if you're looking for a little bit extra then go for it. Just make sure that after your workouts your meal in, and aside from that make sure you're doing at least 3-4 hard exercises a week where your heart rate is really high and you're really pushing it.

    The quality of foods you eat as well as the timing is also very important.

    I don't often do intermittent fasting anymore, but I find if I make a coffee in the morning (after my water) with coconut oil, a little bit of honey and some almond butter, I can stay energetic and not hungry until about 2-3 in the afternoon.

    Take BCAAs to keep your muscle fast while doing cardio all day long
