Only if you believe Jews are some sort of mega-hivemind who agree on everything. If you realize that Jews can have different opinions and you look even just a little into it you'll find that Israeli Jews are far more likely to be right wing whereas Jews in the West are usually more left wing with the exception of the Orthodox.

Both ashkenazis and sephardis and a few other groups are descended from a middle eastern people, the original jews, mixed in with the local population of the place they lived in. They're not the same but share a partially similar origin.
Ethiopian jews are black africans that adopted judaism probably due to jewish traders in late antiquity or early middle ages.
So yes, there are ethnic jews and they share ethnic bounds excluding the beta israel.

My reaction to reading this article was how vastly different politicians and media in Israel and Sweden are. They openly talked about the challenges with refugees and how it will change their state, something that is a big no-no here.

The fact that they “bribe” poor countries to take them is rather nefarious but it’s pretty well known.

One of Sweden’s largest newspapers openly praised Israel in an editorial and how tolerant they are and how many immigrants they have accepted.

What they didn’t tell the readers was that they talked about Jewish immigrants. The same newspaper would never claim that only accepting Christian immigrants to Sweden is tolerant.

They (most Jews and Muslims)are supportive of liberals , open borders and tolerance in the West, but in Israel and major Muslim countries, they are adamant on the primacy of their religion / ethnicity. In America, the Jewish orgs. support open borders and are resoundly against any nativist sentiments but they support Israeli nationalism and racism. If they (major Jewish American Orgs. and major political figures) were truly liberal like they project themselves to be, they would be at the forefront of confronting Israel's treatment of Palestinians , refugees and aiding regimes like the Burmese.

The same with Muslim orgs., they condemn White nativist sympathies and resistance to Islamic cultural influence, but back in Indonesia,Pakistan,Saudi,Egypt, Algeria, Malaysia the Muslims make dam sure the minorities (ethnic and sectarian) know their place.
