DC has had the better career in duel divisions.

Both guys currently stand with records of 22-1 (1 NC) and you could dissect this based on the quality of opponents and the victory methods.

On paper though:
- DC has a record of 15-0 as a HW and 7-1 (1 NC) at LHW, holding titles in both simultaneously.
- Jones has a record of 22-1 (1 NC) in LHW, holding the title with the most defenses at 8 and an interim title.

As a LHW Jones is hands down the very best 205er based on names and title run. Overall though, DC has fought at 265, then 205 with a run with the belt, then back up at 265 dethroning the most successful UFC HW Champion at the time. I still say DC with the better career but this will always be a good subject to debate.

Jon easily. The fact that he's beaten DC twice and stopped him when gigantic HWs couldn't put him down looks more and more ludicrous as Cormier racks up wins and accolades. Jon unquestionably has had the GOAT career and he's done it with no losses.

You want to talk steroids and out of the cage issues, be my guest, they're valid. But if we're talking strictly cage business no one's been better than Jones period. DC is still your all natty all fatty champ champ and GSP your clean GOAT but objectively Jones still has a better resume.

Jones and it’s not even close. He’s never been defeated. Beat DC twice and finished him in rematch.

Jones has never been knocked down meanwhile DC got dropped and hurt bad by Rumble and Gus, also got hurt by 2 day notice Silva’s bodykick in round 3

Jones has been near flawless in the cage outside of a TRT vitor armbar attempt

jones. 8 title defenses right? came in and reigned supreme over a division where the title was playing hot potato every year. he really solidified himself as the cornerstone of the LHW division. the drug BS hurts his all time great status but id still say hes been more successful than dc. dc is almost done as well, while jones may fight 10 more times.

DC was willing to defend the lhw title and was angling for shogun, even entertained fighting latifi.

Then Gustafsson called him out and then made the whole Instagram post about Gus being entitled and won't fight him.

Then Jones comes back, offered him for the end of year (he's fighting Gus then instead now) won't fight because his hand is injured.

Didn't want to fight Stipe at MSG because his hand was injured but fought Lewis.

Now he's saying to Ariel he doesn't want the final fight with Jones but with lesnar.

He just wants to fight people less talented than him and to people to think he's great, Its obvious

And the division where Jones should have fought all his career if he fought fighters of his size, but he went to a division where he had advantages in reach and size. End of story. And also DC is far worst when u drain him cutting weight, in HW he's much better.
