I have an iInstructional DVD of Imanari's. He shows some cool stuff, but I'd recommend Bodycomb and Kesting's DVD's over them.
Thanks for the videos, though! Always something new to learn.
I'm going to the one here in Busan tomorrow. I recognize a couple of faces in the first video. The guy skinny sitting down in the brown Bull Terrier rash guard is a beast.
That guys pretty good leg lock game which comes out of no where, i also have is dvd but not yet watched it. his brothers a pretty cool guy too
bet he has a mean 50/50 would be cool to see him against hall or someone else with top leglocks
Hall is a top leglock guy? Curious, who has he caught?
Back when be competed Hall had a wicked Heel Hook. I mean, he even named his gym "50/50".
Seeing as he's only really faced elite competition in IBJJF events and the occasional ADCC, he hasn't gotten many opportunities to flaunt his heel hook against big names. He's wrecked a few black belts at Grappler's Quest, though. He also got pretty close with the heel hook on Rader at the Ultimate Absolute.
To be honest, I can only think of two heel hook specialists who have heel hooked elite guys in pure grappling: Lister and Toquinho.
I wish Lister would make a leg lock dvd.
Imanari is a funny dude lol.. won't take normal pictures only with cuss signs
Yeah but who has he caught though?
Yeah....Imanari has a large body of work with leglocks submitting over a dozen fighters in competition. IMO its not really fair to consider Hall an equal yet.
Heel hook is not 50/50. I thought that a guard and it had a bit of ying yang going in it for a gym name.
RNC Ankle lock! THE PAiN TRAIN!!!
Lol, I like his face.
I don't think Imanari has heel hooked any more elite black belts than Hall has.
I think lister released two semi-instructional dvd not sure if any sort of leg lock was adressed though
