I'm thinking about going to Red Lobster

Go when they have the Shrimp deal. You can get like 4 shrimp entrees for $16. Add on some crab legs for about $7, clam chowder and a caesar salad and you are feasting. It's not the best seafood but its pretty good.

You should pull the live lobsters from the tank and set them free like ed furlong did.

Ive never been - Mostly because I'm afraid of eating cheap seafood where there is no ocean. I know nicer establishments fly the goods in, so its somewhat fresh- What is it about this place that im missing - am I just being a snob?

I wouldn't call red lobster cheap at all for a chain restaurant.

Do you have a casino near you? Damn casinos have completely spoiled me compared to restaurants like Red Lobster. I could pay $20-30 for a plate of crab legs there or I could go to the casino, pay $23.99, and have unlimited crab legs + prime rib + desserts. Easy choice for me.

Do it.

Better than Chili's or Applebee's these days.

Why does Red Lobster get so much flak? Granted I only been there a couple times but I don't it was bad. The prices weren't too bad and the food tasted decent. Are the quality of the lobsters bad or something?

Don't have a red lobster around me but there is a ton of good seafood places. Guess I don't need one.

I say give you give it a miss and hit up the Blue Oyster instead.

There is nothing wrong with red lobster bruh. Sherdog is full of food snobs.

It's not bad bud. Give it a shot and report your experience.

The biscuits cannot be overstated.

Because it's a chain restaurant. And because certain subset of folks consider it "fine dining" because it's a little more expensive than other chain restaurants. But I like it - I end up there 2-3 times a year.

We to there once a hear or so. Love the biscuits and usually get the feast and some crab mushrooms for apps.

Only time I was ever disappointed was with a chewy lobster tail, so I just dont get lobster anymore.

Great starter salads, amazing buscuits, and for the most part, some pretty damn good seafood.

I do live on the east coast, and we do go to Ocean City every year for a week, so I do go to some of the best places for seafood every year.

Side Note: If you ever get near Milton Deleware, you HAVE to go to Po Boy Creole. Place is the absolute best for some seafood/sandwiches/jumbilaya on the east coast.

What good seafood places are there in OC? Please don't say Philips, that place fell off baddddd.

I went to one of these once with an ex-girlfriend. I refuse to ever eat at that garbage establishment again. Red Lobster is basically where poor people go to feel civilized like the Keg.

We stopped at a place on the way down, forget what it was called, but they had good crab balls, crab legs and shrimp.

Then we found Po Boys Creole and seriously never went back to anything else. We stay right across from Slaughter beach, and frequent the Rehobeth boardwalk while there. OC is over an hour away, but we call it our beach/ocean city trip.

I havent been to Phillips in about 12-15 years or so. All you can eat shrimp and prime rib was fabulous though.

I gotcha, OC is a broad term. Could be Delaware, MD, or NJ. I was in OCMD this summer and the food wasn't as good as it used to be.

you sound poor...

go to legit place or buy some fresh seafood and make it yourself
