I have a cholesteoma (sp) and likely an infected mastoid. I have had an ear infection for 3 years, the doctors fucked around and didn't do their jobs, and it spread. So now I have to have a pulsating mass taken out from right underneath my brain, and have my mastoid bones scraped off or wtevr.

What I have can turn into bacterial meningitis. If I disappear, there ya go.

Twice I went to ERs with serious bleeding from my ear, and both tines I saw a PA and not a doctor. No tests were ran. I think that doesn't meet a standard of care. One of the hospitals was University of Michigan.. It says on your discharge papers "today you saw Dr. Blah," but you really never saw him. Does anybody else feel that if your discharge papers say you saw a doctor, you should have seen that doctor?

At U of M I also had to deal with a girl who wanted to mess with me, likely because I'm the only kind of person it' legal to mess with at the moment. I called and tried to set an appt. With an ent specialist, twice, and each time she didn't call me back, or have anybody else do it either. She maybe sensed I wasn't hyper socially liberal and didn't like it. Idk, but she was negligent at her job.

Ent I eventually saw put a tube in my ear without doing a CT scan or mri, which would have shown that the infection was coming from above..

Anyways, if I disappear before or after the 25th, it's been real.

I hope you'll be alright, but give me a like just in case you die so I have something to remember you by.

Welcome to the world of corporate "healthcare"; motherfuckers care more about making money than they do about your well-being.

Just a few months ago, this girl I know got rushed to the er because of sever abdominal pain she'd been experiencing. They did some half-assed routine checks, didn't find anything of note (not that they were really looking) then discharged her. A couple of days later, the pain came back and she passed out in her living room; she went back to the e.r. and they found out she had a ruptured cyst in her ovarian region. Eventually they treated her, but it took a while for her to recover, all because they ignored her when she described her symptoms on her previous visits.

Anyhow, I hope your experience turns out well. If not, it's been nice knowing you.

Should have gone to Michigan State to get a pelvic exam!<41>

A lot of em probably liked it lol. *shrugs* He is still a disgusting scum-bag, and the school still messed up.

I'm sorry broseph. Best of luck to you.

Yeah, that was it. Or maybe it was the fact that you tried to shoehorn politics into every fucking thing that came out of your mouth, as is evident by your theory.

Anyway, yes. I have had very serious issues with both doctors and dentists not doing their fucking jobs. At Kaiser, they always say, “be your own advocate.” What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Like i’m Supposed to advocate for what I want, which is to be healthy, and they’re supposed to advocate for what they want, money, and we reach a cthem moromise somewhere in the middle? Fuck that. I am paying them tons of money to do their fucking jobs. If that means they have to perform some extra tests to be sure they didn’t permanently damage me during surgery or something, then that’s what they have to do. It is, after all, what I pay them for.

Damn bro. Hope it works out; best wishes.

Also you should consult an attorney regarding medical malpractice or negligence. Not sure if either apply here but it seems you put in the effort to get this diagnosed ASAP. Idk if there was anything procedurally that was missed.

You may annoy me at times but I'd hate if anything happened to you, bud. This place wouldn't be the same without out you. I like having you around. You barely got a brain anyways so I'm sure you'll be fine. We're with you, man.

Well if you die, know you died like a G. That was some savage Indifference to death.

Sherdog brother,

This is suppose to kick your immune system into overdrive. I've done water fasting before but not this. You may want to explore it with these sorts of health issues you have going on. You have nothing to lose and it is free.

Yeah, having to yell at doctors makes it seem like the system got really trashy. The way I was raised kind of forces me to assime they are the highest professionals and that would be innapropriate, but that has changed.

I only dislike the idea of not seeing my kids grow. My 11 year old would be super sad, and I don't want that.

Take care and God Bless man. Hope everything goes well. Good health is so precious.
