Change the fight into a NC so DC retains the strap?

Or, make Gus vs DC II or Volkan vs DC to determine the new champ as fans will have a hard time seeing DC as champ since he was recently finished?

Or, maybe something else....
 
DC would logically be the champ if this is made into a NC, as it likely will.

Dana seemed to think that DC will regain the title.
 
I would have to think that DC will retain HIS belt.
 
DC is the champ but it doesn't change the fact that he was KTFO by Jones.

Since Jon's entire career is void, it reverts back to Shogun holding the belt
 
Gus beat DC, 2, 3 and 4. Defended against Jan B and Glover. Gus is the legit champ.
 
Cormier, but a tournament would be a good idea at this point, IMO.
 
If dc were not made the champ retroactively it would legitimize Jones win. Jones cheated, therefore he did not beat dc. If dc wasn't beaten then he remains champ. Dc deserves his belt, Jones' money, and the ufc to supply him with an attorney to seek criminal charges and compensation
 
At this point the champ is decided in a battle royal at WWE No Mercy. Last two guys are DC and Samoa Joe after Reigns eliminates himself and Conor to start a feud.
 
DC has to be champ, the last fight is null and void.
 
Has to go back to DC right? You know this makes me think. DC was actually doing well and possibly even turning the fight in his favor before the knockout. Not bad considering it looks like Jones was juicing. DC is truly a great fighter.
