I'm assuming that literally 0 of you care about Melanie Martinez

Sippy Cup, Soap, Training Wheels, Alphabet Boy, Pacify Her, Dollhouse & Pity Party are great.

She is the perfect balance between weird and unique. Very Underrated Artist

Ok, just now listening, watching her music videos is annoying me a little bit, but if I look at something else the music is enjoyable.

But, yeah, nothing on LDR. @Pixelated Porn I'm with you.

That music is terrible, but I would tie her up and do dirty, naughty things to her in that cry baby outfit. She looks like she'd enjoy every second of it too.

'Soap' is something she's never used

Not feeling it. It's just like all that other crap that's played on those shitty top 40 pop stations. Carbon copy. But hey, what do I know?

It's all subjective.

This is legit one of my favorite songs this year

Obviously, the original is older and this remix is even a few years old but I didn't find it until this year.

Whatever music works for you, listen to it, IMO. I used to listen to a lot of metal and stuff like that, but the energy was too negative for me. Now I just listen to light-hearted stuff. As long as I find it reasonable and it keeps my energy at a reasonable level, I'm in :)

SuicideSheep basically has the exact type of music I'm looking for most of the time

She is My daughter's favorite artist. I ain't ashamed to say "tag you're it" is my jam. Also "sticks and stones" by the pierces (which is kinda the same style of dark pop music) is decent enough to be on my playlist.

It's true. I absolutely do not care.

I like this song too

Not bad I guess. The lyrics are just as out there as any metal tune I know.

Not all of this kind of music is bad, it's just that good songs are few and far between. There are at least a couple of artists from each genre that I tend to like.

Just another generic pop vocalist, music by the numbers. Her image seems forced, giving her a facade of creativity. There is potential if she would create less formulaic music...

LDR is like the top of the mountain for me. There is no one close to touching her.
Good call mang.
Funny you mention that, she feels so much like a New York Jewish girl to me; so much so that I'd define the Jewish American girl from the Bronx 'subculture' by her and her work. To think that, not only is she not a native, she didn't immigrate until 10 or so years old is fairly hard for me to make sense of.
I'm from a USSR born half Jewish family, maybe a part of the reason it resonates with me so hard, now that you mention it.
Her first single "Dollhouse" talks about faking looking happy to make your family look good. That is a huge thing with people where I grew up

I literally love every song you named, and I don't love all her songs.
We must have similar tastes
