If you were a UFC fighter, how much time would you spend at the UFC performance institute?

"Nowhere To Run"

Seems like a bunch of science nerds telling athletes the best and most efficient way to do things according to graphs and charts and formulas. Probably tell them not to run distance because it could hurt their knees, and the usual nerd talk about how they can do xyz instead and it's safer etc.

I have seen this sort of pencil pushing and number crunching when people over analyze golf swings in an attempt to build the "model" swing. Usually results in overthinking and loss of confidence in the long run.

I think I would go and see if they would let me do some film study and see if they would allow me to see any of my opponents on the 360 cameras. That's about it though..

Eat for free......Free massage from hot blonde......
I am moving in

Live there and bring my own trainers lol hopefully the UFC covers all my meals and supplements.

I don't know, but the video with the tour of the facility was funny. The dude who worked there giving it clearly didn't know what some of the machines were and what they did.

Seemed kind of limited to me for the number of fighters in the UFC. I guess only Dana's special picks get to go there.

Sports science is not a science. I studied it at college and it's a joke.

Quite literally no one has scientifically deconstructed accurately any facet of any sport. Not even close.

Sports science is good only for improving running surfaces, making shoes lighter and other non sports aspects of sport.

A lot because it's right next to my house

they can be great help.. Problem is that your not building much cardio in one years time ..

you plateau frequently and it takes long long time to build it up to something special ..

he has relied mostly on sheer ko power .. He fought less than stellar competition and overeem was kind enough to gift a highlight..

you could tell allot buy a guys 5k time ...bet ngannou couldn't run 2 miles without gassing out

Risky move bro. You're not worried Dana might say 'eat whatever you want, it's all catered, it's on us, we'll take care of everything...enjoy.'

Think about it.

No I trust Dana, he takes care of his own lol

Good free help for entry-level guys. Apparently it's pretty helpful for weight cutting.

Don't forget comparing punches to being hit by Ford Escorts.

"that's the weight of 4 double decker buses, or like 7 elephants standing on one inch of your chest" or various other spurious points of reference that no one has ever experienced.

Or they could just say "its like a really fucking hard punch" like an actual boxing coach would say.

i'd live there. free food and everything else u need too.

If i get to be Jeff Novitzy's BFF and defend me from USADA, 5 hours a day... at least.

I bet Jeff is there making tainted supplements.
