If you had a stocky build, which gi would you choose?

So my question for the experienced gi fanatics is, which one would be best, why, are they both good brands, etc.

If you do not fit the standard sizes you should look for a gi company that offers husky sizes. Off the top of my head Ctrl, 93 brand, Kingz, Shoyoroll, Maeda, and Tatami have husky size options. I am sure there are more.
