It's no conspiracy. The truth is in plain sight. We fight for natural resources, control, and power.

Yes we fought in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq for resources, control and power! Without those nations, we wouldn't be powerful or in control. And they just flooded us with resources that vastly outweigh the resources we invested in the wars right? It's not like it cost us money to go to those wars.

War is a great business model.

Don't waste your time. People who want to see the world as a conspiracy will see it that way, andyou wont convince them otherwise. Going into Iraq may have been a bad idea, and losing focus in Afghanistan may have been foolish, but neither were done out of some kind of omnipotent evil. But if you don't have the maturity to accept that, you just won't buy those as strategic errors.

And in a vacuum, this pov would have more merit. As a mosaic, your plausible deniabilty becomes far less plausible.

In the one issue of Iraq, there are 100's of individual issues that ask us to accept this plausible deniability over and over. From Haliburton, and Blackwater, to billions of dollars just lost and unaccounted for. To Valery plame, to yellow cake uranium and aluminum tubes, to a smoking gun coming in the form of a mushroom cloud, time and again you will offer your plausible deniability, and time and again it becomes less plausible.

hah with what? They have a pretty pathetic bomber force, we have deep penetration aircraft and equipment. The fleet would be in danger close to the Chinese shores.

    Spies, a drone swarm, cyber.

Maybe not hawaii, and japan, but softer targets like Afganistan.

They can hit us in the mouth if they want to.

A draft would never work these days anyway. People are too fat and unhealthy. The majority of people wouldn't meet the most basic of standards.

Yeah I mean I understand the point he's trying to make with war profiteering. The PMCs are making boat loads of money and they do profit more during war time. I'm sure that influences their ideology, but they're just one cog on a much bigger wheel that drives nations to war. I guess it's easy to believe ridiculous things when you aren't actually involved in parts of it.

Both are autocratics (one in the making). And ask yourself this: has there been any real escalation in the tensions between the two nations that have resulted in any tangible changes in the geopolitical sphere that would affect Russia negatively?

The basic standard can always be lowered. Convicted felons were able to get waivers back in the mid 2000s just for the Surge. The Army is still dealing with the repercussions for that kind of recruiting even today.

they dont have that level of drone tech right now. So far only country ive seen that deploys drone swarms is the US and they seem to have a good OS for it. Pretty sure the CIA would handle that, i mean that a very big military base in Hawaii

japan is even bigger....idk hard to say

    No place for war?

So you'll just kneel down when the Chinese or Muslims come over and decide this is their land now?
