This proves how much sexism is alive and well in 2016.

She is hated on only for the fact she is female. Angry Virgin neck beards worship ped abusing males but hate on Ronda.

An example is Yoel Romero is a guy who is also an Olympic medalist and has been busted for supplements. Has nowhere near the accomplishments of Ronda but Sherdog loves Romero and hates Ronda because he is male.

Sexism is a huge problem on Sherdog today

1. Her 'greatness' was extremely over-hyped

Back in my day trolls were more clever. They at least seemed like they were being sincere. This is basically shouting, "look at how troll I am!"

Just look at Cyborg who has actually been caught cheating, has a far worse resume and gets much more respect.

Or JJ who says similarly disrespectful stuff (telling Cutedia to go back to the jungle) but it gets dismissed as all in good fun while Ronda's stuff isn't.

People constantly make fun of Ronda for bad looking offensive striking (ie. the shadowboxing gifs) even though she has scored T/KOs with it, meanwhile nobody questions striking specialists for not showing offensive grappling at all.

Sorry, it seems you are too stupid to differentiate a few things:
1) If she was a male, she would not get any belts. Men's MMA is light years ahead of women's MMA, and as such ROnda would not be even remotely close to the top tier.
2) If she was a male, she would not get half the hype from the UFC. Or even a fraction of the love by Beyonce or other celebrities. She would probably never be on The Ellen show, or any other show. She would be just one more middle of the pack MMA fighter....
3) Oh, and if she was a men, she'd be cut from the UFC by now as well
AND
4) She wouldn't appear naked on ESPN, Ink and so many other magazines. SHe would not make 90% of the money she made, and would not get a movie career just for being a tough guy.


So sorry, sexism goes both ways. For the good and the bad.

But I guess you can only cry about the bad, and forget all of what I wrote above.
 
I usually hate all fighters who get ridiculously overhyped by the UFC. Ronda was one of them. A pretty shitty attitude, the fact that she fought in a terrible division and managed to get all these credentials made a lot of people dislike Ronda. Personally, I did not hate her, but I was in disbelief when hearing the UFC and tons of people claim that she was the pioneer of women's MMA. Marloes Coenen? Gina Carano?

Gina Carano was 10 times more attractive than Ronda, had a great attitude and was super charismatic, and started fighting wayyyy before Ronda. She is the pioneer. Ronda is a pioneer as well, but Gina was the first iconic fighter in mainstream women's MMA
