You would at least have more options for fights to make at MW.
Absolutely- Bisping already turned down fights with the #2,#3 and #4 fighters in romero, moose and jacare. How was he supposed to know GSP would beat bisping, and then would vacate instantly, and then Whittaker would pull out due to injury?
Too many unknowns at the time of his decision
" he got his ass kicked"- what fight did you watch. He broke his eye socket 45 seconds in - went on to dominate round 1, win round 2 and drop final frame. The guy got his ass kicked and edged out a decision against Shlemenko. UFC cut him at the right time.
Actually it was a " competitive offer" - obviously not enough .He'd been saying for a while he wanted more money and was planning on testing the open market. A few fighters have done this, it worked very well for Gilbert Melendez. Gegard also said he was pissed off with the way MW was being run, that was a big reason for him looking elsewhere. Sure, they could have just guaranteed him an unrealistic amount of money but that was never going to happen under WME. In the end UFC did offer to up his contract and Moose said the Bellator and UFC contracts were very similar financially but he'd prefer to go to Bellator
I’m still pissed at the UFC for letting him walk. They should have wrapped up his contract before bellator could even make an offer. He fits in well with the ufc MW contenders
The best MW matchup currently would be Moose vs Luke.
Moose easily beats Whittaker; he beats Weidman, Gastelum, Bisping, Brunson
Moose loses to Romero
Moose vs Jacare is a coin toss fight
This. Moose is good but Jacare and Romero beat him too.You lost me at "Moose easily beats Whittaker"

It's called "depth perception "... you go and fight with one eye for an entire fight-Lol.
Don't be so obtuse.
You are acting as if Schlemenko wasn't the one who fucked up his eye.
Weidman dominated the first. The second was closed and then the very anticlimactic ending happened in the third.
"Quit*. Weidman didn't signal foul or anything, that was entirely the ref. If you got knee'd twice by gegard and the ref told you you got fouled wouldn't you want to take your time?
It was a shit situation and due to the way the rules are written TKO was the correct call.. But if that had been the original call ref stoppage by TKO that would be one of the shittiest TKO stoppages ever
Ladies and gentlemen...we have officially found Mousasi’s personal creampie cleanup boyDominated the first? All he did was take gegard down then try to lay on him.
Not even close. If big dan had bothered to stay out of his own way, that was going to be an easy tko considering whineman was eating knees to the head and his only thought to intelligently defend himself was to put his hands on the ground.
He's a gatekeeper in the UFC.
Hard truth but he really is.
No killer instinct to be a top champion.
A lot of his fans support him because he trained with Fedor and crushed cans in DREAM.
Weidman cardio lasted 1 round last time. In a 5 rounder he would end with some serious brain damage. Chris had nothing on top of Mousasi and he got oustrucked on their feet.I think Weidman beats him in a rematch
