No, Mousasi won because he was demolishing Chris in 2nd round-----Chris wanted out....even a clean shot to the liver had him looking to ref for mercy nut shot break....didnt happen, wanted out. Both are 1-1 against mentioned competition. Weidman's wrestling is better than Luke's, yes. But Rockhold demolished Weidman while Mousasi won because Weidman didn't know the rules.
And it sounds like you're trying to use MMA math even though MMA math doesn't work in your favor because Rockhold slaughtered Weidman while Mousasi couldn't (this is coming from a Weidman fan) and Rockhold destroyed Machida while Mousasi couldn't. Rockhold won the MW crown while Mousasi was beating on fighters by the likes of Santos and Henderson.
Nevative, there's a 90 day negotiation period where he can't talk to anyone and nobody to him.6 weeks left, and doesn't seem like much progress made.Gut feeling is that there is a bit of "chicken" being played here and they sign him even if it's last second.Has Gegard renewed his contract?
Add Phillippou to that list as wellMousasi is the more technically sound with his striking and overall better standing. His jab is great and he really hurts people with it. Mousasi is also great on the ground, even if he prefers to keep it standing vs anyone (but Mark Hunt, lol).
Rockhold has great kicks, both to the body and to the head. He has a good check hook that he spams a lot in his fights. Where he really shines, though, is grappling. Great scrambles, heavy on top, powerful gnp and elbows, dangerous submissions.
I'd favor Mousasi, but it could be a close fight.
For the 287th time , it's called a tko.Last time I checked, Mousasi got knocked out by Uriah Hall via spinning shit. Just sayin'.
Add Phillippou to that list as well
