It would be the best thing to ever happen to martial arts. The world would evolve and start to look at martial arts as a totally comprehensive form, much like the vision of Bruce Lee.

Boxing should join the company of a sport like BJJ, it really has no logical reason to be at or near the top in the modern world, it is simply clinging to tradition in many areas of the world at this point.

The comprehensive practice of martial arts should be far atop the mountain. It will be a very exciting time if Conor can pull this off and remove the blinders from the eyes of the Luddites worldwide.

Conor isn't a Master of anything. Not in the way Floyd is. Floyd is a way more successful and effective boxer than Conor is as MMA fighter. There's also no specific fighting skill where Conor would be the best in the world. He wouldn't be the best grappler, kickboxer or boxer. He wouldn't be the best wrestler. Floyd, not only is the absolute best by far at a specific discipline, but he is by far the more effective of the two at their respective sports.

Conor has 3 losses and holes in his game that can and have been explored. Floyd has 49 boxing matches and zero losses. One man mastered his art a lot better than the other. One man can say "at this thing nobody beats me.". The other can't.
