I love how Toney talked so much smack about MMA and he fucking got taken down by not just a single leg, but by a single ankle pick. That was embarrasing, and that guy was a world champion too. In one of the interviews leading up to the Conor vs Floyd fight, he mentions he wrestled as a youth and in hs until boxing took over for him. Says he's sparred with Cody and would try to train with him if he fought in mma.

He's actually not a great boxer at all, I don't think he'll reach true elite status.

He is a good boxer though, and has talent - certainly has legit handspeed and power, with pretty good timing.

He is basic though, at elite level. Lomachenko would school him, and Floyd knows it well.
