Which seems ridiculous since both Dana and Rousey have talked about the rematch with Holly Holm.

Any truth to this or just another stupid rumor?
 
I also read this yesterday on Twitter. Not sure how valid it is.
 
Didn't that emerge from a zingano post on instagram?

She posted a picture of the fight on the anniversary and said something inspirational #hardwork #bjj #somethingsomething.
 
Might be a fight to try to boost her confidence and perhaps test out some new techniques.
 
It actually wouldn't be a bad thing if this fight happened.

Rousey is in desparate need of a confidence boost and a warm up fight before facing Holm again.

Terrible matchmaking, why would anyone want to see her rematch someone she destroyed

It's all about the right stylistic matchup here.

Zingano is a wrestler and not even close to being as good as Rousey in the grappling department.

Dana's not stupid. He knows this is the best possible opponent for Rousey to rebound against.
 
Zero chance Dana doesn't make the huge PPV rematch fight right away.

Yeah, but its too obvious. At least put her in with an unknown, that way you can sell the fight to your average joe.

That would be fucking sad. Cat hasn't fought again since that embarrassing fight. What if she loses again? I'd like to see Cat climb the ranks.. not potentially retire. By the way... where is Cat zingano anyways? wtf.
