I just hit 485 on deadlift

So i finally hit the 400s on Deadlift, is that good??i weigh 190 btw
 
Every day you go into the gym and do something you have never done before is good!

Did you mean to type 405? If so, to try to answer your question more specifically, for your size
  • For someone who isn't active at all, it's amazing
  • For someone who does a sport where strength isn't important, it's fine
  • For someone who does a sport where strength is important, it's not that good
  • For a lifter, it's pretty early stage

If it's a PR then yes it's good. Congrats! 5 plates right around the corner.
 
TS must mean 405 because how could someone hit 485 without ever having pulled in the 400s?

Anyway, good work and congrats. I feel like 405 is a milestone that everyone who puts in consistent time and effort can hit but a lot of people fall short of.
