I just dont understand this Brady-Rodgers stuff. Sorry

Peyton is better than Rodgers, hell Brees is too.

Brady deserves more credit in the pats success then belichick period. 75% Brady 25% belichick flame on....

Rodgers couldn't lead a group of geniuses out of a 20 foot long tunnel at 12:00 noon.

Brady could lead average men to the center of the sun.
He'll fucking go head to head with people (O'Brien, McDaniels, and of course Edelman about every third game) like a man would, rather than going passive aggressive.

Brady is certainly not just a system QB. With that said, Belicheck did take the Browns to the playoffs and win a playoff game.

You mean he Ravens, basically. He played a big part in making them.

Its pretty simple.

Aaron Rodgers is the most talented/gifted QB ever.

Brady is an absolutely incredible QB and far and away the most accomplished. The combination of which makes him the undisputable GOAT.

Its not the same thing.
Yup. End thread

That's why the two years prior to last year he took basically the same team to the NFC title game two years in a row when it looked like all hope was lost with a shit tier defense and FatCarthy at head coach.

2017 showed to the world just how much Rodgers does for the Packers. Hundley couldn't even keep the same offense ticking to go .500 while Rodgers was sidelined.

The level of brain-numbing idiocy in this thread is staggering. I shouldn't be surprised though, considering Rodgers fans are the Flat-Earthers of sports fandom, so facts and logic don't really have much importance to them.

Let's take those dumb arguments and dismantle them one by one:

''Brady wins because his division is weak''

''Belichick is the reason Brady wins''

Belichick without Brady had 5 seasons in Cleveland, only 1 playoff appearance, no playoff wins, and subsequently got fired. A record of 36-44. His first season in New England he was 5-11, 0-2 in the next when Bledsoe got hurt. With Brady, the Pats went 13-3 and won the Superbowl.

Belichick is 19-19 as a Pats coach with someone other than Brady. He's 0-2 in playoff appearances when he has full seasons without Brady.

2000 Pats 5-11 (Without Brady)
2001 Pats 13-3 Win Superbowl (With Brady)

2007 Pats 18-1, 16-0 regular season, best offensive season ever at that point, only bested by 2013 Broncos (With Brady)
2008 Pats 11-5 miss playoffs with vastly easier schedule than 2007 (Without Brady)

Belichick career record without Brady 55-63 (46%)
Belichick career record with Brady 203-57 (78%)

I was leaning towards Rodgers but holy shit good post. Swayed me sir

Nope Rodgers is the best QB to play the game with all the intangibles, Brady has the rings , and has always has an owner/ coach that always provided weapons for Brady, Rodgers hasn’t had that luxury for years now, you put Rodgers on the pats and they have 8-10 rings , Rodgers has carried the packers for years ,but again the organization failed to provide him and the defense with what they need to make a deep run year after year.
LOL!!!!8-10 rings!!

Like... if we use rings as a barometer...... That means Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Dan Marino......
And Bill Russel is still the GOAT. Even big shot Bob is better than Jordan.

In all seriousness though, Brady is 0-4 against Mannings in the playoffs post spygate

I forgot when Rodgers went to the Panthers and changed his name to Cam Newton. Was a really weird turn of events in 2015.

One likes his footballs deflated.
One likes his footballs super-inflated.

That's all I got.

I don't deny that he plays great. He's incredible. I just don't think he gets others to play great. If he had better leadership ability they'd be the Patriots of the NFC.

If Rodgers god tier comeback plays dont inspire you Im not sure what the hell possibly would.

Maybe if Rodgers had a franchise that would actually build around him they would have been the Pats of the NFC.

Or, the most likely case, maybe we just take for granted how incredible the Pats’ run really has been and how ridiculously hard it is to stay at the top.

''Fuck Tom Brady and Fuck the Cheatriots''

I'll give you that one.
Yeezus Christallnacht, @ThereIsNoSpoon went fucking The Hills Have Eyes on this thread.

Rodgers has a cannon for an arm capable of throwing 60 yards to the end zone, the legs/speed to move to stay out of the way of the opposing teams Defense and a world class QB IQ.

Brady can't move or throw like Rodgers. He's lucky he's got the kind of Offense to work with.

That's not Brady's style and it never has been. Mobility wise, no question..... Brady looks like he's under water when he's running. But he can make any throw Rodgers can make. To say otherwise is silly. Brady's gone long plenty of times, including game winners too. If anything, I've haven't seen Aaron Rodgers thread the needle during clutch game winning drives as well or as consistently as Brady has, marching down the field in under a minute with no time outs. But that's not primarily his style either.

They're both amazing. People can play the "If Player A had Player B's offense/defense/coach he'd have 4 rings by now" bullshit. If they want to live in hypotheticals, fine. I don't. And lol @ calling Brady lucky for his offense. The one constant on the Patriots offense for 17 years......is Brady. He's made ordinary receivers look like ATGs. Give him a HOF receiver for one year (Moss 2007) and he breaks every record.

I appreciate the hell out of this generation of quarterbacks we've had. Even Peyton, even though he played for a steaming shit pile of a franchise like Denver, was amazing and he earned his respect. Rodgers, Brady, Brees, and Manning are all on many list of the top 5 QBs of all time, and they played in the same era. That's unreal.

I stopped reading at the Cleveland part. That's such a stupid fucking stat considering what Bill did with that team
Who cares? This is a manufactured rivalry. The NFL is artificially validating this question purely out of commercial interests.

Brady is the GOAT of QBs. This may not be as settled as Jordan = GOAT of the NBA or Gretsky = The Great One, but right now, what meaningful debate is there to be had? It's settled until Aaron can actually start cranking out some wins-- critically playoff wins. The deficit is also so massive that Aaron can't hope to achieve this with a single season. It's going to take several seasons of this kind of dominance to close the gap.

Even Kareem and Lebron can't ride the advanced metric arguments to a spot on the mountain above Jordan, and they both have at least three rings. We could just as easily be talking about Brady vs. Brees, and haters would still find similar reasons to piss on Brady, but try switching it to Rodgers vs. Brees and this becomes an internet perma-meme ridiculing how the sports machine manufactures inauthentic controversy.

That tells you which of those names really belongs next to GOAT.

No one is actually arguing that Rodgers is the GOAT on paper or by stats, just that he is more talented of a QB than Brady.
And he is.

The only "manufactured rivalry" are you weirdos who think we're saying 1 superbowl ring is better than 5 lolol
