I hate watching fedor fight

I am on yellow so, I will word this carefully.

According to Rogan on JRE podcast, he said RJJ was on "MEXICAN SUPPLEMENTS." I cannot agree nor verify said results but he fought @ HW and won a belt. Not the actual HW champ but one of the sanctioning body belts. Still pretty epic in his win over John Ruiz.

A return to HW, RJJ looked rough. Speed was lost. Timing was off. Maybe he got old. Hands down in the rematch and Tarver slept him.

Similarly, Fedor fighting Choi/Coleman/Monson/Linland among other cans is the same sort of fuckery that pisses off a die hard fan. I am a FIGHT FAN 1st > all else. I am pissed GSP ducked Anderson/TW/Count/Hendricks rematch too. As a fight fan, I want these super fights but, as a GSP fan, I am happy he didn't end up looking like Franklin/reconstructive facial surgery. Prime Andy was scary.

Point is, a fighters prime is fragile like a woman's SMV/Aesthetics. Once its gone, its game over, and all the wishing wont bring it back.
Lol idk about the mexican supplements but yep most athletes in all sports that are elite seem to fall off a cliff at some point. In other sports they can adjust the way they play switch positions. Like how CR7 lost a step but still had a great season just being a poacher in the box and putting the ball in the back of the net. But in combat sports that is not an option...

Now, what you are saying is absolute bullshit.

Interesting commentary given, I called it, Mit in 1.

You wut mate?

The reason being, Fedor become prone to KOs not because he stopped fighting top competition, but because it's a biological process - a trauma, if you will, that occured due to age and too many punches in the head.

Years of coasting (IE CHOI??ICHII?MONSON?), picking Werdum over Reem, ducking Reem twice (don't make me link the BJ penn or lowkick source) are givens as to the issue with Fedor. Saying he fell out of Prime at 33 is ridiculous.

Getting punched more does not lead to better KO resistance - if it did, Muhamad Ali would have been KO-proof for eternity. In fact, given Fedor's current KO susceptibility, it seems likely that if he were to have fought top competition at all times, he'd become prone to KOs even faster. That's just biology.

Anyways, learn biology - stop applying the 'the more you do it, the better you become' logic to biology, where rules are very different.

This is called stupidity. He got punched out by a MW. he ducked Reem then HW champ TWICE. Want link?

He ducked UFC his entire career. He picked weaker orgs after Pride collapsed. The nonsense from delusional fans is ridiculous.

GOAT @ HW no doubt from Pride till 05. COasted afterwards and the losses speak for themselves.

Roy Jones Jr. is also very prone to getting KOed these days. The first thing that goes for top fighter are not their skills, but their ability to take a punch -
Then again, RJ was a speed based fighter - he had amazing speed and he lost that too due to age. His style is still awesome, but without the same speed, it looks like a show off.
RJJ was so much faster and had god like reflexes. He did insane things so once he lost a step he was destined to not age well.

Age was a factor as he relied on athleticism/speed/timing similar to Andy so, when the decline happened, it happened fast. Notice both dropped off about the same age range.

If i find the podcast I will link it. I dunno Rogan I like but he loves the sound of his voice lol

Shame. End of a Era. Fedor in Pride was epic as was the CC fight. Even the comeback versus Rogers was sick. The over hand was stupid crazy powerful

@ 40, there is little chance of bouncing back from that. Even the time he took off after retirement, the fights he took after the loses, and the drugs/PEDs/GEAR used in the sport like TRT fuckery is BS.

If you remove GEAR user loses, Fedor's record is all the more impressive. Personally, I don't even count those loses.

Weird fucking card. Strangeness. The Chandler injury, the near double ko. Flash stoppage Picco fight. Weird.

Cannot wait for the main event. lol
Yeah this has been a wacky night of fights lol only in Bellator.

Fedor is garbage.. looked bad against Maldonado and now gets ko'd by a mediocre hw? Smh pride was a joke

It used to be that way when the streak was still going. Always wondering if tonight is the night he falls.

Now its just kind of a bonus to still be able to watch him fight, but I don't expect much. Hes 5+ years removed from his prime, just like Shogun. He should have already hung them up, but even in his past-prime state hes still entertaining as fuck.

WAR GOAT.
He's not the GOAT, dumbass.

And yes it was entertaining as fuck watching him get Schaub'd

Yeah Brett Rogers fight was fun and very memorable I watched that one in a bar in college. Everyone lost their s**t.

OK, now I know you are trolling. I'm talking biology and science, you talk nonsense.
If you read my first comment on this thread, one which was posted minutes before the actual fight, you'd know that I am concerned that Fedor will end up like Tim Hague if he continues fighting.

Move on, troll.

Under sized HW. Stupid KO power, heart, chin, reflexes. The Spine buster by KeVin Randleman was gross followed by the sub. Just ridiculous. The fact he outstruck CC in the grandprix was dumb. Like, nobody expect that sort of outcome. I miss Pride, the screaming lady and theatrics.

I enjoy this Bellator card though, the ring entrances seem like WWF lol Anybody notice Wanderlei walk seemed like i was expected Godzilla lol

Ya cause the best way to judge a fighter is when they are 40 and out of their prime.
Hendo beat the snot out of him, werdum, big turd Silva ... hendo looked a lot better at his older age .. just something about fedor idk.. love the guy but always thought he was a bit over rated ..

I called Mit by rd 1 KO. You were watching bbc cuck porn. STFU. The fights are on.

Fedors arms were straight up in the air like he was reaching for russian jesus.

Agreed.

The funny thing is how people judge fighters based on how bad they are after they are old-ish, slow and lack the power they had.
Like I said before though, the fighters' inability to take a punch is what really kills them later on - the brain loses connections in the skull and is later free to bounce around with every punch. After the first KO, fighters get more and more susceptible to more KO's.

Arlovsky is a great fighter, but his brain hasn't been held in place for a decade or longer. He still has the speed, the strength but with every mild punch, he gets dizzy and/or KOed.

Fedor? Same thing - still has an amazing speed (though his endurance is pretty shot), and he could take big punches in his prime, but now - he's like Arlovsky.

For RJ, it's even worse, because not only is he prone to KOs now, but he's also lost his speed athleticism.

Dude you realize nobody ages the same way? Prime isn't decided by just age. People peak at different times. Guys like Hendo, Hunt, Anderson looked better when they got older. Put Hendo and Fedor during 2003-2004 and Hendo gets murdered. These fighters are humans not video game characters.
