I was opening up my new phone yesterday and decided to redownload a couple apps I had on my old phone

Then when I put install the app said something like deny or allow

and it said they allow us to make phone calls on your phone or something, and then I put deny and it wouldn't let me download it

then another app said allow access to your phonebook, photos, location, and to make calls or something

wtf? thats some shady shit I dont think they need all that personal info basically the app is scanning my entire phone from email, personal voice males, texts, photos, calls like seriously I just wanted to download some puzzle games to play on my break to kill time waiting in the car before my shipping route starts.

They already have intrude your privacy, you just realized it now because you re-downloaded the apps.

yeah, I had the same phone for years but it broke, just got a new one and redownloaded and all this shit popped up about having access to my camera, photoalbum, location, and the weird one was allow us to make phone calls on your phone why? lol

I'll only put first party Apple stuff on the phone, but 3rd party MMA org on iPod.

Bro, I already passed all your information over to Zuckerberg a long time ago.

Just send your dick pics to Zuckerberg and be done with it.

When it's free, the product is YOU, as they say

Having a smart phone in general allows THEM to watch you and listen to you.
you know that Amazon Alexa is spying on us, they can hear your convos because I remember I had mine plugged in and I never said Alexa and it was listening to my convo with my family and turned on and started talking its a slick way of spying.

The CIA paid Amazon billions of dollars to do so.

App Privacy and permission creep went from:

- you give us permission to read your data (ie contacts)

To now

- you give us permission to use your speaker to listen to your calls, to read your texts, to delete current Apps and upload new Apps to your phone. To erase, re-write and/or change your data or rewrite or change data in your USB storage. To post reviews on your behalf.

And no one reads the permissions or cares.

every app has almost always done that including the old flashlight app... why would a flashlight app need to access your google calendar or photos?

Remember that time maybe this year or last year Amazon's Alexa spontaneously recorded a family's conversation and emailed it to someone in their address book, which may have been husband's client or boss? I don't recall any explanation of how the fook that happened. I suspect hacker or malware.

Would people let the plumber or pizza delivery guy inspect their wife's underwear drawer or your porno stash? This is pretty outrageous invasion of privacy and I don't understand why it's allowed aside from corrupt lawmakers being bribed or too dumb to understand anything computer related.

It creeped me out when they said allow us to have access to your phone to make and listen to calls or something like that
