What other divisions have fallen apart at their peak because the champion refused to fight any of them? Gegard left to Bellator, Chris and Luke are considering moving up to LHW.

What other champions have taken fights that are not contenders, or not even in their own division and plan to retire before they have to fight any contenders?

Michael Bisping is the complete opposite of what everyone wants a champion to be. He redefines and devalues what it means to be a champion in the UFC.
