We need covert action. Kim Jong Un needs to fall into a mishap and be replaced by one of his more progressive relatives (like his uncle or Kim Jong Nam's son).

There's no way that happens though, kind of hard to imagine the unthinkable. I don't like Trump myself but that's just such a ridiculously hypothetical question.
How would you know ? Every thing you hear about North Korea is filtered through South Korean intelligence and they often purposely throw out a narrative that is favorable to maintain dissonance with liberity. We really dont know how much of those stories is true. Nearly all the defectors stories have been debunked as highly exaggerated or downright ficticious.

I don't think the people who actually know what the fuck is going on will allow this to happen, for Trump's own good, but I don't know, there seem to be fewer and fewer people like that in the room.

I'd congratulate the North Korean people for the impending liberation and integration with their wealthier and freer countrymen in the South. In my head, of course, since I don't know any North Koreans, seeing as they're treated like retarded children and aren't allowed to mingle with the rest of the world.
I would bet its not nearly as mad as you think.

North Korea was by far the more industrially developed and wealthy part of the country in the late 1940s. I wonder what went wrong?

2. Where do you get your North Korea news? On what basis do you challenge the universal view that it's a hellhole? Please tell us about the Nork magical kingdom.
How will we work it out? China doesnt want south korea or japan because of their afgiliation with the US to control its border. They want a puppet there and thats why they leave kim there and make sure everyone else does the same. They also love buying up their resources for poverty prices.
