on his return, I mean he is already 40 you think he will fight until 50?
Not 50. He has 2 fights with Bellator and possibility of a 3rd fight with them. After that, I could see him fighting a few times in Rizin, so maybe another 2-4 years, 3-5 fights.
I'd say 2 more years of fighting. If it's God's will of course.
He will be fighting Royce Gracie in a legends match up by then.
I see maybe 1. Outside chance of 2 if he's training much more wisely than I thought
It all depends how it goes. Meathead is the type of guy who stops people in a way where they may not want to fight ever again. Especially if they are as old as Fedor and have as much money as Fedor has.
If Fedor somehow beats Mitrione (which is a BIG if) then he will probably fight the winner of Sonnen vs Wand which is another winnable fight for him and he would definitely be back for a third.
If he loses to Mitrione which is very possible then I dont know if he will ever come back which pisses me off about the matchmaking. Mitrione isnt a guy you want to be retired by. If you go down go down to a legend, not some fucking retired NFL player who made his way into the sport via TUF.
For fucks sake. I hope Fyodor pulls this one off.
he should fight ken shamrock when shamrock turns 60.
Meathead is top 30, what does a guy have to do to get some respect in this sport?
I think maybe he has 2-3 fights left after Mitrione
How many people care?
Those sycophantic parasites in his entourage would roll his ass out there in a wheelchair if they could to make a nickel.
do you think he is being coerced into fighting? i can't imagine so
I don't think he's being coerced at all. Just don't think Fedor's inner circle necessarily has his best interests at heart.
Rubles rule everything around me
He will probably retire if he loses a fight, especially if he loses badly. Assuming he goes on a winning streak I can see him fighting 3-5 more times. The question is, if he wins will he ever step up in competition and fight someone relevant?
I believe he´s doing it mainly for his team, tryin´2 put his fighters on the map, since the Russian MMA scene is still fragile.
The fight MMA fans around the world have been waiting for. Fedor vs Sakuraba in the first ever wheelchair mma fight. Brought to you by Condom Depot.
To me if those are his reasons for fighting then he shouldnt be fighting. This is a very dangerous sport where the consequences are grave. You dont fight to put your team on in my opinion, this isnt a team sport.
I really wish Fedor would train with a better camp.
But as long as he stays with the same trainers, he's not going to last long.
Even a focused and well-trained Fedor at his age would be entertaining to watch.
Even if they were fights with older legends, I'd watch them.
Mitrione is bad news for Fedor. I wish him luck.
