How many G's are you dropping on Mousasi getting whooped by the no name Russian?

Then he got the life clowned out of him by Tito "My skull is broken" Ortiz and Brandon "No Ballsies" Halsey. In the interim, he needed steroids to beat a chinless Manhoef, fought a load of bums in Russia while on suspension 'for pulling a Jon Jones', and has not been able to find a decent win since.

Moose is going to take him down and usurp the life of the good man. It is an utter and complete mismatch and a showcase for the new face of Bellator.
And then finished Halsey in like 30 seconds in a rematch. If Moose can lose to Hall he can def lose to Storm. Moose is the obvious favorite though

Shlemenko is good but Moose can just lay and pray like he did to Cos.

TS is a can.

Shlemenko is not some random no-name bum. He's not a big star or all that popular, but the real hardcore fans know him well and know he's very good. You don't get a 54-9 record (30 KO/TKO) if you suck and like many here have already said, he's legit. He's a very dangerous striker and I've always believed he would do well in the UFC against most in the top 10 and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he could become top 5.

If Mousasi chooses to stand, this could be a very interesting fight. Stylistically, in terms of their striking styles and skill in that aspect, it'd be a very entertaining back and forth battle. Shlemenko can hang with pretty much anybody at 185, he's no joke. He's been around for basically just as long as 'Moose', is a little more experienced in terms of how many fights he's had, is extremely dangerous as I already said, and very fun to watch. Check out some HL's and I'm sure you'll like what you see.

This should be a good fight. Especially if it stays on the feet 'cause they both go for it. Anybody that counts Shlemenko out obviously doesn't know anything about him but they will learn soon. He's a bad ass Russian striker that knocks the fuck out of people. I'm definitely looking forward to this fight.

Inb4 'roid talk.

Im going GGG on the other guy winning.

I love the Mousasi/Shlemenko match up but I hate that they booked the fight this early, especially considering how shit the middleweight title picture is. This could've easily been a title fight but instead two dudes who would get smoked by both Mousasi and Shlemenko are fighting for the title

Also, fuck TS for not knowing who Shlemenko is

Shlemenko is a great striker. But his grappling is not good at all.

Mousasi made a career out of outstriking grapplers and outgrappling strikers. I expect him to use his size and grappling advantage to take Alexander to the ground and finish him easily there.
If he wants to stand and bang, Shlemenko is pretty damn good at it.

Weidman outjabbed & outcrossed Mousasi. Weidman landed the only straight punch all fight.

Weidman does have 6 inch reach advantage on the no name Russian.

No wonder Moose ducked Rockhold. You not going to land Wanderlei punches on Rockhold. He's not just going to stand there and eat them.
Wait.. was that in the same fight when Weidman quit against Mousasi after a LEGAL knee?

USADA Weidman always wins round one and then fades and looks for a way out. Expect to see him do it again tomorrow against a fat WW.

This is OP trying to the move the betting line in his favor. I see right through your BS OP! He must be a big Storm fan that is trying to make money.

The fight will be competitive if it stays standing but gegard has big advantage in grappling

The no name Russian you're mentioning about is just happens to be the former Bellator and M-1 MW Champion.

Storm is a legit opponent and this is actually a verry decent matchup.

Shlemenkos legit. He gave Prime Lombard a solid run

Shlemenko is MW that cuts no weight similar to Gastelum. The thing is, Gastelum is built like a washing-machine and is a physical and powerful pressure fighter with great wrestling....Shlemenko is a dynamic striker with a big kicking arsenal who gets exploited by wrestler and pressure types, often who have size advantage. Shlemenko needed to cut weight and be a WW, it's too late now he's like 33 so he's an old dog at this point. Technically speaking Mousasi is on another level, but there's at least a 15-20lb size difference fight night, can't imagine storm has much for Moose.

Still think Shlemenko could come over and beat guys like Uriah Hall and Brad Tavares in the UFC though, he's a solid fighter.

No name Russian? Shlemenko is one of the best MWs in the world. He is an elite long time vet.

you just say shlemenko is a no name? dub worthy

They looked three weight classes apart in that fight
shlemenko was the favorite. i was the only one picking tito it seemed. but yeah bad thread

Robbie Lawler made the cut to 170 around the same age and look at the results. Yushin Okami was supposed to be a huge MW and he dropped to 170 at 35 y.o.
Shlemenko is small compared to the biggest 185ers today but he isnt as small as you claim neither.

The thing is dropping a division would not help Storm at all because his wrestling weakness has to do with skill much more than size. His ability to get back up isnt elite neither. Brennan Ward put him dowm and took his back pretty easy and wasnt a matter of size.

I do agree he can beat the likes of Tavares or Hall in UFC, who are legit, but he lose to the top ten guys most of the time imo mainly because of this hole in his game. Standing up I think he is one of the best MW in the world
