How is the trade war going?

I think that when we are experiencing good economic growth is the best time to try to work new trade deals. It would be impossible during anemic growth such as during the Obama years. The fear-mongering would be out of control.

You might be right. We don't know how this will turn out so there is plenty of reason to worry. The bad thing about this is we could so negatives before we see any positive. It could take years for there to be positives but will our politicians have the resolve to hold with the policy that long.
