I got Nog in a ring 100%, but in a cage it's a pretty close match up.

Several fighters including Vitor and Randleman failed tests when PRIDE first came to the USA Nevada state. Fedor fought in the main event of the same show and pissed clean.

Fedor was also tested by WADA in sambo competitions.

There's no scenario where Fedor makes it out of the third round

Yeah, cause Jon Jones is such a crazy finisher.

    Ovince St. Preux - Decision
    Daniel Cormier - Decision
    Glover Teixeira - Decision
    Alexander Gustaffson - Bad Decision
    Rashad Evans - Decision
    Stephen Bonnar - Decision
    Andre Gusmao - Decision

That 52% UFC finishing rate tho..... super scary stuff.

Seems like going 5 rounds with Jonny Bones isn't that hard after all.

Anything can happen in a fight...but Fedor wins. By armbar, ko, GNP, whatever. It's silly to think a guy who has never fought at hw would beat the consensus HW GOAT.

Speaking FACTS. Can you counter them? All you all do is sit here and whine about it, but you don't actually refute it with evidence. They are TERRIBLE athletes, who are ONE-DIMENSIONAL.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend that isn't the case because I like to stick VHS tapes in and relive the "glory" days..

The glory days will be when real A-level athletes step into a cage with the right mindset and experience to be the greatest form of hand-to-hand fighters on the planet. Until then, I'll sit back and watch blokes try to sneak in a fat one in there ass cheek to try and pass off as a C-level athlete, but I certainly won't be mesmerized by it.

    Calm your tits.

It's more of a testament to Fedor's gas tank. If he doesn't get that finish in the first or second, his finishing ability goes down drastically. Jones can push the pace and has better Mobility on the feet.

I'd favor Jones at 210 vs a Fedor at 230-240

When did he ever show a bad gas tank during his best years(or indeed ever)? its really more a case of an aggressive fighter taking potential finishes early which is true across MMA, perhaps fighting a little more for the decision vs the likes of Semmy, Mirko and Nog latter in the fight but never really looking tired and still getting the best of things.

Indeed cardio is another area that would clearly be different from the DC fight.

Cute. First, you selected his FIRST 2 ufc fights. Second, you conveniently left out a murderer's row of Machida, Shogun, Rampage, and Bader.

Wow he had to go to a decision with DC and Rashad---both one-sided, mind you. Hey, Fedor went to decision with Mirko and Nog.

Let Bones fight HMC, Zulu, Ogawa, Nagata, Lindland, all the LHW/Mws he fought in Rings and his finishing rate would be the same.

LOL @ "went to decision with DC"

    So much mental gymnastics.

Bones is so dominant that as soon as one guy (Gus) is able to put up a decent fight, everyone jumps on the robbery bandwagon.

It was a competitive fight that Bones clearly won---sealing it with a standing strike.

All 3 Sherdog judges scored for Bones. All 3 official judges had it for Bones---one of whom had it 4-1.

    Best ever.
