Its called a King Cut T-Bone ans is 48oz.
 
medium rare, bbq it, some bbq sauce in it, maybe some sriacha sauce, with some mash potatoes, thats good eatin' right there i tell yah
 
Cook it on the green egg until it is medium rare then start eating with a Side of sautéed mushrooms and Cesar salad.
 
5 minutes a side.

My preferred cut is a porterhouse, it has the filet in it. A NY strip on one side and the filet on the other. It's hard to cook the strip without overcooking the filet but it's as mouthwatering as tits
 
Kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper the shit out of it. Indirect on charcoal until just shy of medium rare, then direct heat to sear the fuck out of it. Let it rest tinted on a wire rack with a plate under it for 15 minutes, then slice against the grain to the desired thickness, pour the accumulated jus over, then season with a nice finishing salt like maldon.
 
Boil it for 30 minutes and serve with ketchup and spegetti-o's.
 
I would leave it out to get to room temperature, cook it to 125 degree internal temperature and then reverse sear it.
