How do post prior TRT exempt fighters still manage to compete in MMA?

Another ignorant thread.

Taking steroids doesn't shut down natural testosterone production permanently, ya dummy.

Not everyone responds to gear the same way, some flourish off a tiny amount, some do average, some less than avg, and others get gyno looking at a bottle of test.

And the majority somewhere in between or a combo of 2 or more.

Lol

Some do better pct or off better than others.

Just like some dudes with low levels of t are okayor just fine while others are not.

Individual physiology, receptor sensitivity, adaptivity, and metabolization.

Also planned microdosing in a few cats addendums.

They are still great athletes. If you were supported by some kind of substance, then your performance will drop but it's not going to stop you from training/competing. Sometimes for some odd reason people underestimate the human body and how much it can take or achieve. Sports fans of any kind have seen many examples and yet keep holding on to some weird perceptions about some things...

. Shogun could have had a chance against Jones on the TRT

How do these fighters manage to compete when their bodies are not producing natural test anymore (since TRT stops your body's natural production)?

It stops your natural test production while on TRT. When you stop taking it your body starts producing it again.

It takes a while to reach normal levels again but it eventually happens.

People that think not popping equals being clean are the worst sort of people. They may not be able to take bodybuilding Test E doses anymore, but they are definitely slipping PED’s through the cracks.

Look at Yoel romero or Costa honestly and tell me you think they’re clean
Exactly my thoughts.

They were never on TRT. It was just a euphemism for massive testosterone doping. They're probably on something resembling actual TRT post-USADA though (but without a TUE).

GOAT Jones vs TRT Vitor wasn't good enough for you?

No, Jon Jones is much bigger than Vitor. Vitor is old school LHW back when the weight limit was 199 lbs.

Jon Jones would never make 199 lbs.

Shogun is a small LHW. He was dwarfed by Forrest Griffin and Jon Jones.

TRT Shogun vs. TRT Vitor would be amazing.

We saw roided 21 year old Vitor vs. roided 22 year old Wanderlei in UFC Brazil, which was awesome. I'd like to see TRT Vitor vs. juiced up Wanderlei.

Shogun won the first fight under Pride rules.
Shogun was dominating the 2nd fight until he got caught.

Shogun w/ TRT would have wrecked him.

Also their 2nd fight took place one month after the TRT ban. Not fair...if it were only 6 months later Dan wouldn't have had that advantage.
The 2nd fight was a month after the TRT ban, as you say, but Hendo was given an exemption to continue his therapeutic use exemption for that fight lmao

Overeem lost almost 20 pounds of muscle. Vitor is a shell of himself. Lesnar looks like hes melting. Jones got bigger and more ripped(??). Cyborg looks like an ugly chick instead of a pretty man.

Basically, if they really stopped using by a significant amount you can see the differences.
There are ohviously many fighters still using, getting through loopholes, maybe designer drugs, whatever but the differences pre usada and post usada are drastic. If it wasnt for the Jones fiasco id say they were on the right track but we know better now.
Time will weed more of the cheaters out but you will never catch them all.

Those that did cheat and now fight clean will pay a price.
Overeem is the best example. He has always been a capable fighter with a suspect chin. Then he found horsemeat and turned into Ubereem and became a world beater. Then he got caught and is apparently clean now, so he is 20-30 lbs lighter and is the epitome of a glass cannon.
He will never be Ubereem again but he still is an entertaining fighter at times.
And Yoel is more yolked today than he was in his early-mid 20s physical prime competing in the Olympics

Because aging works that way

There are outliers where this doesn't happen anymore such as bodybuilders. These guys actually need trt.
