How did Romero survive this shot?

Cus it's Yoel.

I'm not a fan by any means but that man is a damn monster. By far one of the scariest fighters to ever step foot in the Octagon.

He has good muscles to be able to sustai nbig shots, also it was nothing since he was able to stop himself moving into the shot and the knee didn't land kneecap flush but on the upper softer part of it, it was nothing.

But let's be average shit eating drooling retard and say roids made Yoel an x-man with adamant skin.

ITT: Gullible Idiots.

Steroids. Nothing else. Maybe steel plates in his neck.

It will be hilarious when Romero gets popped by USADA to see all the upset kids on here. It couldn't be more obvious that the guy is a juicy slut. If you don't see that, there is no helping you.

Because he's a beast. Say what you will about Romero, but I seriously think he's one of the toughest and most entertaining fighters to watch of the past decade.
Agreed. He's in my top 5 current favorite fighters for sure (Romero, Whittaker, Stipe, Conor, Khabib)

Steroids don't make your chin strong, ever and NEVER will. Look at K1 Kick boxing and watch Overeem get starched.

Chin is a haplessly overrated thing at that level of competition. He would've been put out with a "right" strike that looked like less. The genetic ability to take is a hit is far more variable when you bring noob fighters into the equation.

It was to the front/top of the skull which is probably the best place for him to have eaten the shot but yeah insane.

But aren't most of us of the opinion that the majority of fighters are on the juice? The guys a freak of nature. Credit where it's due.

Gone are the days of him being rocked and almost finished by tim kennedy. His chin can withstand some serious leather now.

He has an olympic head.

This knee was soft tissue striking Romero on one main plane of motion which was vertical. Probably would have been a knockdown or KO if RW had been standing a couple of inches farther back as it would have been bone-on-bone.

yeah looks like he missed by about an inch. Maybe miscalculated how far romero was going to duck into it.

Great head butt by Romero to whitaker's unexpecting knee there

Rich Franklin took solid knees from Silva that disfigured his nose and face. That man has balls fighting Silva twice knowing damn well he what gonna get rekt'd. 2 broken noses and a few broken and brusied ribs.

Are you serious? This has nothing to do with bone on bone and everything to do with the brain floating inside of the skull and being bounced around.

Do you watch the NFL? Helmets don't prevent KOs because the brain still smashes into the skull when there is a violent physical impact. The amount of energy in that knee is significant. You can see the energy travel down Yoel's lats and body.

He is just a freak. Let him be a freak.
