    McGregor assaults people publicly.
    Mayweather assaults his wife privately.

They’re both retired. I’d say they are very comparable.

Mayweather wouldn’t be as popular as Conor today if the judges didn’t rob Castillo of his win

When did Mayweather lose two of fights within his first third of his fifty wins?

    Oh! NEVER!!

    Enough said !!

Only time Floyd didn't defend his belt... in more than one weight class I may add.... Was when he retired.

Conor is obviously bigger to UFC than Mayweather is to boxing.

Conor is probably also more mainstream liked by important segments of the UFC community: Dana White, people who order PPVs and others.

No comparable at all. Mayweather is one of the best boxers ever (50-0) with long career, Connor is a good fighter in a worldwide marginal sport with 21-3 record. Conor is the "child" of modern media age, no more. Twitter, facebook, 15 minutes of fame.

Maybe in popularity they're comparable but not really in anything else.
