Wisconsin's state assembly last week proposed legislation that would allow any resident, regardless of age, to legally hunt in the state.

The bill would specifically eliminate Wisconsin's minimum hunting age, according to the Associated Press.

The current law requires a resident to be at least 12 years old to purchase a hunting license or hunt with a gun. There is a program that allows children as young as 10 to hunt, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. But under the new program, that restriction would be eliminated.

“To allow a toddler, a 2-year-old to carry a gun—and I’m not being hyperbolic, because someone will allow it, it is dangerous,” Katrina Shankland, a Democrat and state representative, told the Associated Press.

The bill passed 57-32, with three Republicans opposing it and four Democrats supporting it.

What would you like me to say about this
 
I could give her a pass if she had exhausted all ideas to get a babysitter if she was heading to a job interview in another state for a day or two which could improve her and her children’s lives but going to Germany to eat Wiener Schnitzel and drink beer with her brother for 11 days is a big no no.
 
When I was young like that my mom might leave us alone in the house for a day or something but not 11 days wtf. 12 is too young to be running the house for that long but not so bad if they had a relative or close friend living within a short distance from them. Maybe there's more to the story like that, but maybe there's more to the story that makes it even worse for her because wtf is she doing flying over to Germany for a couple of weeks when she's on the government titty and she has 4 kids at home? She sounds like a hot mess and the parents in Home Alone were pretty fucked up too if you think about it because they left him not once but twice.

Pretty sure the parents never wanted to let him stay in the house in the first place. They forgot about him in the first part due to being distracted by too many kids and the other part is when Kevin accidently got on the wrong plane. Anyway, it's just a MOVIE.

If I had kids, I would never leave them, even overnight especially in this day and age. During the day is the max for me. For travelling, I would send one of my family relatives to look after them or take the kids to their house.

Child porn is an estimated $3 billion a year industry. With like 1.2 million children being victimized.

It's fucking disgusting just how "popular" this crime is. My honest belief is that it's a mental disorder. Like homosexuality, pedophiles are simply born that way. Maybe there are some environmental triggers, but I think a pedo will always be a pedo. That means they will always be dangerous to children.

It is mental disorder but I do think psychology has reasons why it happens the way it does. Or at least they have some clinical knowledge on why it occurs.
